PRICE & VALUE: The Trust Ardor 2.0 speakers are very good quality for the price paid for them, from £10 to £20 approximately - I'm sure the prices do fluctuate although they're being sold at this price range, valid September 2026. SPEAKERS (APPEARANCE): All components of the speaker set are a matte-black in colour, i.e. the speakers themselves & the speaker wires enabling power & audio connections. Both speakers have a black fabric cover on the front of the units, protecting them from debris - within the interior, the speaker cones themselves are actually behind a solid plastic surface, presumably with holes drilled into them to allow the sound through to the exterior environment. Both speaker units have rubber strips attached to the underside in order to prevent them from slipping about on smooth surfaces - this being said, I have however due to general clumsiness knocked both speakers off a window sill maybe a meter & a half in height, & they were perfectly fine afterwards, just a scuff or two, so they're constructed quite solidly. SPEAKERS (SOUND): They consist of a left and a right speaker, enabling a stereo-sound production that is quite generous in the lower frequencies - the sound input levels can be adjusted at source, though the default audio goes through either or perhaps both pre-amplification that filters the top frequencies & speaker cones geared toward a rounded bass-oriented sound. Additionally, the volume levels are really loud if turned up towards the top volume level. CONNECTIONS (LEFT & RIGHT SPEAKER): The speakers are connected with an un-detachable speaker wire of approximately 1.3 metres (130cm) length - if a wider positioning might be required because of environmental factors or stereo-imaging requirements, extending the length of the connecting wire would just be a straight-forward splicing of a second piece of speaker wire. CONNECTIONS (POWER & AUDIO): Similarly, the speaker set has a double wire connected to the left speaker of approximately 1.4 metres (140cm) in length, providing its power from a USB A-type plug, & its audio source from a 3.5mm (1/8") stereo plug - I have the speakers connected to a normal charger plug & it works really well without any background noise. The left speaker has a 3.5mm (1/8") headphone socket, that automatically switches off the sound produced from both speakers, if headphones are connected. A basic 3.5mm (1/8") stereo speaker cable extension can be purchased quite easily in order to obviously enable a connection to devices positioned more than 1.4 metres (140cm) away from the speakers - be certain to get a cable that has a socket at one end, & a plug at the other, each of a stereo 3.5mm (1/8") size. This double wire can be separated if the power & audio sources are not located next to one another - I think they were intended for computer set-ups because of this, so it's definitely worth clarifying that these speakers can be used for general use, i.e. connecting to mp3 players, radios, & other sound sources with a 3.5mm (1/8") audio socket. SPEAKERS (ON/OFF): The speakers are switched on & off using the volume dial positioned on the front of the left speaker - this is really quite alright as it obviously ensures that the speakers are at an acceptable volume level when switching them on! They have a visually interesting blue LED light that illuminates & frames the volume / on/off dial when not switched off, & it isn't really distractingly bright or anything. RECOMMENDED (SPEAKERS): I wouldn't have any hesitations in recommending these speakers to anyone in requirement of this sort of thing for various uses - I'd say the main aspects of this product to be aware of are: - the bass-oriented sound - the un-detachable power-source provided via a USB-A-type plug attached to a doubled wire (splittable) of 140cm in length - the un-detachable audio source provided by a 3.5mm (1/8") plug attached to a doubled wire (splittable) of 140cm in length - the un-detachable speaker wire connecting the left & right speakers measuring 130cm in length - the blue LED light framing the volume / on/off dial when in use

Good value and in stock.bought to replace faulty ancient speakers Power Runs from usb lead so plug and play and no nead for another mains power lead. Good sound for the price and compact size also looks ok by pc Cables long enough sound ok though no bass button or speakers balance switch loud enough for casual use

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Trust Ador 2.0 Speaker Set - Black: typically, the speaker with the volume control or power indicator is the right speaker. The other one would then be the left speaker. This is a general design standard for 2.0 speaker sets.
