Having checked, it's compatible with Windows 7, 8.1, 10 or macOS (10.10 or higher). Android is not listed as a compatible OS. It's not designed to be compatible with phones, it works with PCs and Macs only.

No, this is only able to be used with a Windows 10 system or a MacOS 10.13 or higher system. An xbox isn't supported.

Looked in to this myself and it looks like actually you can yes. If you have USB 3 on your phone, then you need to buy a USB to USB connector called
USB 3 to USB OTG adapter symtech do one
