This is an attractive discreet light fitting. It also gives out a good amount of light. Obviously, it depends on what you're looking for but it was perfect for me.

We needed to replace an old 3 bulb light fitting in our sitting room after the decorating. I saw this and it looked really nice but was a bit sceptical given it's price. But I did purchase it. Having looked into this. The light requires a bulb that is a candle E14 small edison screw filament LED, with a maximum 7 wattage. Similar to the link below. On the back of the bulb packaging, it will state if they are dimmable or not.

We would recommend that you use a dimmable bulb. If you use a non-dimmable bulb in a dimmable lamp or light, it may work at full power, but it may affect its life expectancy or cause damage

The supplier has advised the following for the Home Alabaster Uplighter Flush Ceiling Light:
"Comparing LED wattages to traditional light sources can only be approximations, due to the varying colour temperatures and quality of bulbs. As a guide, a 7W LED bulb is about equivalent to a 15W fluorescent tube light, but to achieve a brighter look you need to look for the lumens and kelvin rating of the LED bulbs. The higher the lumens rating, the more light is given off by the bulb, and a kelvin rating of around 4500 or higher would give off a whiter light than a lower kelvin rated bulb.
This light requires 2 bulbs, which can each be up to a maximum of 7W."

We would recommend this is fitted by an electrician as it has to be hard wired into the mains

Thanks for your query about the Alabaster Uplighter Flush Ceiling Light.
The dome is fixed on by a screw that runs up from its finial into the main body of the light. To change bulbs, you'd unscrew this and remove the dome, swap the bulbs over and then fix it back in place after.
