The product specifications consistently list the keyboard as a "Full-size, jet black keyboard with numeric keypad" and mention other input features like a "Mic mute key" and "Camera privacy shutter" but do not list backlighting as a feature for this specific model. Backlighting is an optional feature for some laptops in this HP series but is not included in this configuration.

I can advise that you won't be able to play the original Sims game discs on the HP BM2V0EA 15.6In R5 8GB 512GB Laptop - Black as there is no disc drive and using an external disc drive won't work as the games are not compatible with Windows 11. However, you can download The Sims Legacy Collection which is updated and optimised for modern gaming.
