Perfect for what I needed them for.
They are perfect in every way! I wanted a pair of earbuds that didn't have to sit in my ears as this always irritated my ears. I wanted a pair of earbuds I could wear so I'm aware of my surroundings while walking my dogs , but I can comfortably take a phone call, hands free. They needed to stay put and not move while walking but not too tight so they were uncomfortable after long periods. I searched everywhere.... Well, I found them. A pair that did all of the above and were in my favourite colour. What more can I ask for. Plus, and a big plus,they have the Bose signature sound which I love. The Bose Ultra Open earbuds are a unique pair of esrbuds for me. I'm so happy.

Bought for my husband as a birthday present and he thinks they’re amazing. I also think the sound is incredible. Really light on the ears; you can barely know you’re wearing them. Will buy another pair for my son for his birthday.

Good and bad. Simply not secure enough.
I was given these earbuds as a 60th birthday gift. On my first outing using them, one slipped off my ear without my knowledge, never to be seen again. Hence, my review is both positive and negative. I like the buds but they simply aren’t secure enough. I then needed to buy another pair at full retail price, as Bose will not replace one. I think this is unacceptable and a bit greedy on the part of the Company.

They can’t hear me clearly
I bought this about a month ago I love Bose speakers I have 2 Bose flex sound link gen2 2 speakers Then I bought the earbuds. Apparently the issue is whenever I connected them to my phone because I need them while driving to talk about my work there is a big trouble I need to shout ( speak very loudly ) otherwise nobody can hear me clearly I am disappointed because of they costs a lot literally I don’t deserve this

Great product, be aware of the design intent.
Bought these as I’m fed up of in-ears and have struggled with infections & irritation. These really are all day headphones as advertised, very comfortable. They’re great for podcasts and voice content. They do not perform for immersive audio musically, but they’re not meant to!. Music is ok, but not awesome. They’re near to useless on a flight with the background noise.

Another day. Another round of problems
Yesterday? Actually connected to my phone. Today? Bose app shows YouTube and/or music playing when it's quite clearly not. Pause button you ask? Stop button maybe? No. Doesn't work in the app. Checked device it's playing on? Nothing playing. No sound. Surprised? No. I've returned all of my Bose products multiple times. Maybe 2026 they get it right? Who knows. Unpairing and pairing 3 of my Android devices again. Same thing happens every week. App also forgets it already has permission for 'nearby devices'. For the money Bose charge, it's downright embarrassing, and disgusting performance. I have never EVER EVER EVER had ANY of these issues with my Oppo Enco X3 buds. Bose? Same problems every week. All 3 of my Bose products. Oppo price? 1/3 of what Bose charge. Oppo connection issues? ROCK SOLID HI-RES Shame on you Bose . Just an FYI to anyone buying Bose bluetooth or wireless products: the sound is awesome. The user experience is downright painful. I've made 3 'full refund' of each of my Bose products. So currently I'm up to 9 YES NINE LOL failures. Within 3 months. I need to go now and figure out where Bose has decided to send the music sound from my phone. #facepalm. Boring.

I can confirm that the Bose Ultra Open Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds - Black need to be placed inside the case to charge. There is a charging cable included which is USB-A to USB-C. The USB-C end us plugged into the case.

From the information we have available, I can confirm these Bose Ultra Open Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds are not bone conduction headphones. These still fit inside the ear, the difference from other earbuds is the brilliant combination of innovative design, incredible audio and all-day comfort. The earbuds have a cuff-like fit, which leaves your ears totally open so you can still hear the world around you.

They are durable for any size ear and fit very nicely on the ear. They don’t actually go directly into the ear canal, they sit on the ledge and they hook up around the side. That’s why you can also hear people talking whilst listening to music. Hope that helps you out!
