I had a list of three Audio Units to look at and the R3S was one of the three. Listening to a cd on the system the sound system was excellent, leaving me no option but to buy the unit.
I mainly use dab and cd but trying to use other sound options that are available to listen to.
Overall very pleased with this excellent unit.
I bought this last month and am very pleased with the quality and sound. I thought it was great that it was made with the lighter colour of the outside casing as it fitted in better with my colour scheme. I wanted a simple to use product with inbuilt speakers as I don't like too many wires and this product is perfect for that and still sounds good.
I decided to purchase this product after researching it to see if it suited my requirements.
It certainly did and is a really a really smart looking product and is very well made !
We purchased the above a few weeks ago to replace Bose SoundTouch, after doing a little research settled on the Ruark and we are not disappointed, it was easy to set up and use, and would recommend this unit to anyone who still plays cds, but also listens to radio, which there is plenty of choice, also uses streaming services like Spotify etc,
I am very happy with my purchase of the Ruar Audio unit as compact and sits on my desk and I am able to enjoy all my CDs Again and Play my Apple Music.

I bought this just over a month ago and from the very start of removing the packaging and assembling the product I was immediately impressed with the quality of the build. On playing the first CD, I was blown away by the sound, not only was each frequency very clear but the balance was outstanding too. The quality of the music was such that you felt you were in a Concert Hall with the music being played. When you take into account the versatility of the system that Bluetooth offers, you have produced a fantastic music experience. Many congratulations
I bought the system at the begining of 2026 and have been using it since on a daily basis. I usually use the Internet Radio facility but also occasionally the DAB radio and also the CD facility. The sound quality is very good. I have set up Preset radio stations and they work ok. The only issue I have had with the sytem so far on a couple of occasions, usually Sundays, is that I have lost connection with the Internet Radio Portal which is managed by a third party. When I have contacted Ruark about this, the issue was acknowledged and was being sorted out by the thrid party. But apart from that, I have found the system to be reliable with excellent sound quality.
