The Ruark Audio R3S Compact Music System brings proper hi-fi sound into your living room or bedroom without taking over, whether you're streaming a new album over Wi-Fi, tuning into DAB radio, or rediscovering that stack of CDs you'd forgotten about. This all-in-one system delivers 30W of power through stereo speakers with enhanced Stereo sound, so vocals are clear and bass has real depth, and it's compact enough at 42cm wide to sit on a sideboard or shelf without dominating your space.
With Internet radio, DAB, FM tuners built in, plus iPod compatibility and a USB port, you've got access to pretty much any music source you can think of. The headphone socket lets you listen privately late at night, and Wi-Fi streaming means your Spotify, BBC Sounds, or whatever service you use is just a few taps away. Setup's straightforward with mains power, and at 16.5cm tall and 20.5cm deep, it fits neatly into most rooms. Magic Music Machine!
I received my CD player on 24th September and am absolutely thrilled with it. (Not sure that the neighbours are as thrilled as me, though!) The sound is great and the look is quite modern and streamlined. I had some problems setting it up (due to me being stupid) and the on-line help desk robot-woman was extremely helpful and polite. All in all great value for money.

After looking around for a while, I settled on this CD, radio and bluetooth system from Ruark. I received excellent advice from Robinson's of Kendal and am delighted with my purchase. I found it quite easy to set up and use. The round quality is fantastic for the price. I think it looks really smart and retro too. I love that it is British made by a small company. I'll be adding a record player from Ruark at a later stage. Highly recommended.

Excellent sound
I bought this as a replacement for an old system that had seen better days and was only partially working. It arrived well packed and after taking it out the box I was astounded at the premium look it had. I got the one with the wood surround. Setting up was relatively easy and l loved the sound of my old cds which I hadn’t played for years. I also programmed Dab stations and many of my favourite worldwide internet stations. All crystal clear. The sound is brilliant and I couldn’t praise this unit enough. I would recommend to anyone who wants a brilliant radio and cd player all in one unit

Quality Music system
My wife ad decided to replace our Bose muti room system after Bose decided to drop the SoundTouch app which made , for us at least , the whole system of three separate units next to useless .It took a while to decide on a replacement as we are extremely picky as to sound and build quality. The Ruark is a joy on every level and without doubt out performs by a nautical mile everything that preceded it . Not only is it designed and built in England the customer care follow-up is first class . All I can honestly say is if you have been looking at one just buy it ……it will not disappoint.

Excellent Build Quality!
Have had my R3S for almost a month now and love all the features. For a mini system, the sound is exactly what I wanted for the space. Love the various source options. Unfortunately in Canada we do not have DAB available. However, excellent reception through FM and access to internet makes selections virtually unlimited. Also, can once again play our Christmas CD's. Looks great too! Happy to support a family run UK company.
