Great sound, range of possible inputs, quality construction ... I haven't yet found anything to give me any reason to regret ditching my 5 year old "other make" Wireless Music System. I strongly recommend the Ruark R3S.

The real deal!
I bought and installed the R3 just before Christmas as a replacement for a misbehaving Bose and a Roberts MP23 which doesn't support DAB+ (sadly, as it is otherwise a v good unit). It took me a little while to set up passwords etc., and find my way around the new - to me - available sources, having only been used to FM/AM/DAB etc. The results are a clear improvement on both the other mentioned units and have exceeded my expectations by a distance, even being used to a quality HiFi set-up elsewhere in the house: I have not experimented with the various sound adjustments as I have not felt the need to as yet. So, as far as I'm concerned it's the real deal, not cheap, but it's a quality product and an example of the old adage that 'you get what you pay for'.
