Firstly, a fantastic sound and nearly as good looking as my vintage Beomaster 900! Great separation of sound with clarity between instruments and great bass. Easy to set up via the wizard, much appreciated for a non technical chap in his 80's. I was a little concerned that the 30 watts power would be insufficient to fill our lounge with sound, but that was soon allied. One of the most satisfying purchase in many years, would highly recommend.
It’s both sounds and looks great. Reviews say that the radio doesn’t sound as good but I listen to Radio6Music on DAB and it sounds very good so not sure what they are on about.
It is usable without the app and there is a practical sized remote control. Simple to use but could still be simpler.
SO pleased I replaced old cd player, crappy speakers and no WiFi/Bluetooth capacity items with this one gem.
Cd player sound quality is really excellent. I can listen to my phone audiobook, radio, etc with ease. It was easy to install and I like the fact it came from British inventiveness.
This is my second R3S, having had several years use of one in the kitchen, I bought one to replace the Bose Wave in to the bedroom when it died. Good looks, and it's easy to use either via remote or with physical buttons. Enjoyable sound quality which is important to me.
