great looking machine. Will look great in my new house. with the remote it removes the chance of the button on top wearing out. Does everything it is supposed to with a better sound than its competitors so was a good birthday present.

Replaced 23 years of my Bose Wave CD player

I am a 'narrow' audiophile: about 95% serious classical CDs, some traditional jazz and classical FM radio. For me the RS3 was a perfect replacement for my ailing Bose Wave CD player. It looks serious. It looks and feels hefty. It is easy to use, and it puts out glorious and weighty sound. Nothing on the market comes within a country mile of this piece of kit. I am ridiculously proud to show it off.

I bought this to replace a much-loved Bose which I could no longer use as the app software had been discontinued and the CD player not working. I searched around for something with at least comparable speakers and small enough to fit on my kitchen shelf and found the Ruark R3S. It is easy to use, great to look at and the sound is wonderful. I am very happy!

great sound quality

A month in and I am enjoying this piece of equipment very much. However I have a few niggles: 1. There is no Bluetooth output so I cannot listen on my headphones. I'll have to buy a BT transmitter on line. 2. It is a little frustrating that I can scroll forward and back through DAB preset stations but not through Internet preset stations. 3. I don't enjoy having to scroll through 12 items on the 'Source' menu. I don't want to have to remember the sequence to work out if it is a shorter route to go forwards or backwards if I want to change source. What about a displayed configurable list? Otherwise I am very happy with my purchase.

This is my second Ruark and I am delighted! As always, music comes first. I listen to a broad range of genres and everything is handled wonderfully. The range of features is fantastic with Spotify Connect and Internet Radio top of my listening choices. Well done Ruark and thanks!

very pleased with my new radio

I bought this recently after listening to it in the shop. The sound is excellent. I particularly wanted a dab+ radio to listen to radio 3 unwind, which was not avaiable on my previous dab machine. I'm delighted with the clear sound. I'm also discovering internet radio. It was a bit fiddly to link this machine to my router, but you only need to do it once. I'm now getting hooked on the range of internet radio stations. So thank you for the music!

We needed to replace our Bose Wave and chose this as it included Internet Radio. Setup was very easy and have been happy with the system, the internet radio has suffered a couple of outages but I know that is a third party

Superb product with amazing sound quality

I bought this this week (also an R2) and am absolutely delighted with it. Had a Bose SoundTouch20 until they stopped the radio function from their App so replaced it with this and what a great decision that was. Sound quality is better, also functionality which is tactile and intuitive. And love the walnut case. A very happy customer.
