About this product
The Vax LiftOut Reach Pet-Design Corded Upright Vacuum Cleaner is built for deep cleaning from top to bottom. The lift out canister converts it into a portable unit, so you can tackle stairs, upholstery and high corners without lugging the whole machine around. It's got a 14.5m cleaning reach thanks to the 10m cord and 3.5m hose, which means you're not constantly unplugging and moving to another socket. The anti-hair wrap technology stops long, short and pet hair from tangling around the brush roll, which is brilliant if you've got shedding pets.
The motorised floorhead adjusts between carpets and hard floors, and the side suction gets right to the edges. It's got multi-cyclonic technology for consistent suction power, and the 2 litre dustbin means fewer trips to empty it. At 6.4kg, it's a bit heavier than a cordless stick but manageable for an upright. You get a proper set of tools including pet tool, turbo brush, crevice nozzle, and upholstery nozzle. The dustbag full indicator lets you know when it needs emptying, and it runs at around 80 decibels. Works across all surfaces including carpets, hard floors, stairs and upholstery.

Strong and heavy duty
I bought this product nearly a month ago and my carpets look cleaner. I have a cat and a house full of girls. The vacuum picks up so much dust, hair and dirt. It has a strong suction and cleans well.

Terrible suction
Really weak suction, struggling to remove cobwebs. If you turn off the brush for hard floors you will pick up nothing. Cleaning now takes longer than before due to haveing to go over carpets 2/3 times. Dont bother. Very disappointing as vax has always before been a good brand. If it lasts a year I will be surprised. I shall not buy another one.

Great, lots attachments makes cleaning easy
Really pleased very quick delivery. Hoover is great I wanted something easy to use as I found my previous one to heavy to use now. Perfect on carpets, deep pile rugs, and hard floors. Easy to empty and lots of attachments for easy cleaning, even a bag to keep them all in.

Great suction and easy to empty
I find this vacuum easy to use and it has great suction all round the house and in the car, also very easy to empty. The attachments are very handy and I like that they lock in. I don’t find it particularly heavy the weight is comfortable to carry around.

Useless for pets
It's unbelievable how many positive reviews there are for this machine. It struggles with pet fur, it struggles with cat litter, it doesn't matter if the brush is on or off or if the floor is hard or carpeted. It barely picks up dirt, spreads it around and takes multiple passes to vacuum light dust. It is cheaply made, with a thin plastic attachment to hold the hose which quickly snapped off within a couple of uses. The design is awful, with attachments that pop off the sides easily, a hose that drops out of place easily and poor positioning of the attachment storage pieces in regards to the electrical wire. Badly thought out, cheaply made tat that is overpriced and doesn't work well at all, never mind not being fit for purpose as a supposed "pet" vacuum!
