Wider hose needed
Worked great for the first 2 weeks, cleaned carpets really well, then the metal hose tube blocked, really difficult to clear, and now blocks after almost every use, lead very flimsy.

Mixed feelings
I have a few vax products and never been disappointed but I'm still in two minds about this vacuum. I like that it's smaller and lighter than my last vacuum, has great suction, good accessories, longer hose for stairs and does the job well but I can't shake the feeling that if I had paid full price for this i would've been disappointed. It feels cheaply made and easily breakable, the electric cord could be longer and I find out annoying that the handle is there when you lift out the cylinder. These are minor points and it does a great job but I still cant shake the feeling that i wouldn't have been happy if I paid full price.
