Great value
I am delighted with this vacuum. It’s powerful and has a long cord, I don’t have to keep unplugging and moving. The hair detangle bar is excellent and the lift out makes easy work of stairs. Fantastic value for money!

Having used my new VAX cleaner for a month I can honestly say it is a great addition to my household. It has excellent suction power leaving the whole house really clean.

Mixed feelings
I have a few vax products and never been disappointed but I'm still in two minds about this vacuum. I like that it's smaller and lighter than my last vacuum, has great suction, good accessories, longer hose for stairs and does the job well but I can't shake the feeling that if I had paid full price for this i would've been disappointed. It feels cheaply made and easily breakable, the electric cord could be longer and I find out annoying that the handle is there when you lift out the cylinder. These are minor points and it does a great job but I still cant shake the feeling that i wouldn't have been happy if I paid full price.

Great well planned design and product.
I am a fervent admirer of the Vax vacuums. I have a Japanese Akita and does he moult. Having previously had a Vax pet which tackled that task well i had a few grievances with it. This new vacuum appeared to resolve all those. And it does. I bought it to make the crack easier. It does. The tools never fall off meaning they are always accessible when I need them. The cord clip retains the cord in place. The connection clips are far more accessible and easier to use. The stair tool works really well and the cannister sits stably on the stairs when in use. The new design cannister empties really easily. The floor head is slightly narrower and reaches under more furniture, it is more manouverable as the head swivels. The suction power is incredible still whether using the floor head or the lift out unit. I call the pull out handle my magic wand! It enables easy reach anywhere and clearing of the dog’s hair in the carpet edges as you go. And the Led lights illuminate so well. I could not believe how much dog hair I could not see with the naked eye on both carpeted and hard floors thus enabling a much more thorough clean. I cannot actually fault it! Well done to the design team.

Good product overall. I would have liked an attachment with longer cleaning bristles and possibly a roller driven stair cleaning attachment like the Henry equivalent.
