A good manoverable hoover with great suction
This hoover is so versatile and is much easier for us to use around the home. It has a smaller head than my other vax hoover and is easier to manover. I particularly chose it for the removable dust container, which is so easy to carry and hoover the stairs, skirtingboards and awkward areas. The most used tools are attached and easy to use and because the floor head and body of the hoover move very flexibly, it is easy to manover in awkward areas. The length of cable is very generous and I would reccomend using the clip by the top of the handle to secure the cable whilst hoovering to prevent running over the cable. .

Came to a Halt in the Hall
1. It has a "wobbly" feel to it which I assume has been designed to help the vacuum cleaner to navigate around a room, but it also makes the vacuum cleaner feel very delicate; so you are terrified of breaking the whole thing (- especially after paying £219.00 for it!); and also, if you are in a hurry, and are used to being a bit more heavy handed when pushing your vacuum cleaner back and forth. 2. Was cleaning my studio flat - started it off as I normally do by plugging the vacuum cleaner into the socket in the lounge and started hoovering; but when I got to the opposite end of my flat in the hallway; I came to a halt, because the cord doesn't stretch as far as my previous vacuum cleaner - (which was a Vax Mach Pet Air Stretch Vax Corded Upright Vacuum Cleaner) - so now I will have to unplug and replug this new vacuum cleaner into a different socket each time just to reach my front door doormat - the cord needs to be made longer!! 3. When you have finished vacuuming, and are wrapping the end of the cord (with the plug attached) around the cord holder; you run out of enough cord to wrap around the cord holder, so you just have to leave the end bit of the cord with the plug hanging loose. This happens every time and it is really annoying! 4. Vax designers don't seem to realise that customers' thumbs are short compared to say, their index fingers, and that it actually hurts to try and S-T-R-E-T-C-H your thumb downwards an inch or more every single time you need to press the red power on/off button when you want to use the Liftout mechanism. 5. The grey-coloured Lift up Hose Release button (behind the handle) needs to be designed to have a definite, firm press-and-release and also to make a definite "clicking" sound when pressed - again, it looks like if you were the slightest bit heavy handed with it, the Release button would start to come loose. 5. The Liftout dust container canister part and the handle/hose feels quite heavy, awkward and cumbersome when doing the Liftout cleaning - it is certainly does not feel as light and airy as it looks in the advertisement photograph. 6. Why is there a cord hook at the top of the handle??? - this is not obviously explained, - (without having to comb through the product manual to try to find the answer) - and the cord just doesn't seem to stretch up this far to this point anyway, when the vacuum cleaner is in its normal upright position. 7. A positive - it is much quieter than my previous Vax Mach Pet Air Stretch model - which is handy when you live in a block of flats and don't want to annoy the neighbours. 8. The best bits for me are the anti-hair wrap on the roller and the dust container canister - which compared to the Vax Mach Pet Air Stretch model - is more easier to clean, and is a much bigger dust container than the one on the Vax Mach Pet Air Stretch. So far no hair has wrapped around the roller, and touch wood, it will stay that way! - I have had this product two weeks and am still getting to used to it - overall I would say I quite like it and prefer it to my previous model - generally speaking though, I do wonder whether the people at Vax who design these vacuum cleaners, ever actually have to clean their homes on a regular daily/weekly basis, year in and year out; or whether they employ someone else to clean their homes. If they did actually use their own products, I can't help but feeling they would make these products easier to use, easier to lift and easier to handle overall, and much, much easier and quicker to clean out after vacuuming. Life's too short to spend washing and drying vacuum filters etc. etc. on top of all the other housework the average person has to do!

Great product, great features.
I have been using this product for several weeks now and am impressed with the performance. It was easy to assemble from the guide provided and I was delighted with the numbers of tools provided, one for every job around the house. It has a great reach for high places and the lift out section is a great help, being light weight means it is easy to handle and especially good on stairs. So pleased I purchased this model.
