Fantastic addition to our home
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with this robot vacuum. The mapping feature is fantastic. It quickly learns the layout of the house and navigates around rooms very efficiently. Since getting it, my floors stay consistently clean, which is especially helpful with two small kids constantly making messes. I hardly ever use my handheld vacuum anymore because this does such a great job keeping on top of the daily cleaning. The app is also excellent, very easy to connect to the robot and simple to use when managing cleaning and settings. If there was one thing I’d improve, it would be the scheduling options. Currently, you can only set one schedule per day, and it would be great to have the option to add multiple cleaning times. It is a little on the noisy side, but that’s to be expected with a vacuum that has such strong suction. On the plus side, it gets into tight spaces easily and moves around furniture without getting stuck. Overall, it’s been a fantastic addition to our home and makes keeping the floors clean so much easier.

My First Robot Vacuum: Shark Navigator RV2110AEUK
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky to be one of the few selected to trial this Shark Navigator RV2110AEUK robot vacuum before its release, 1 day shy of 2 weeks usage here is my honest review based on my experience and use in my cat filled flat with mixed floor types. When it first arrived, I started by setting up the base unit and charging the vacuum. The base unit is quite big and needs to be placed somewhere with good internet connection, plug socket and enough room around it, which for someone like me with limited space is hard. As someone who has always had a corded vacuum this felt ages to fully charge, and unless it’s an error or misunderstanding on my part, it seems that if the vacuum is fully charged and I turn both it and the base unit off, the vacuum dies. Therefore, It would seem you need to leave the base unit plugged in 24/7, which is bad for the environment and costly on bills. Initial set up / mapping took hours and many attempts, and I am tech savvy so this could be a real issue for someone with limited tech know how, after the setup when vacuuming it still missed rooms and areas which were mapped and overall, the map is inaccurate to the actual floor space. When I have turned off the vacuum and base unit and then tried to use it a day or so later, it doesn’t connect to the app/ recognise and must pair again with the machine and do a reset, which becomes time consuming, especially when you have disability needs. Another issue is the controls. I wish the vacuum had a simple on and off button instead of a button that needs to be held down, because a few times I tried to turn it off but accidentally turned it on instead, and it started trying to vacuum late at night and was very loud, which then also starts a vacuum suction cycle, even times when trying to re position it or re pair it to my phone the vacuum suction activates, I wish I could control the vacuum suction via the app. When it comes to using the vacuum day to day, the design is nice and sleek in black, and it runs for a good amount of time before needing to return to the base. I feel that for my home the only option worth using is the max setting, light and medium isn’t enough and to be honest I wish max could even be more powerful. The vacuum struggles over our different floor types and mats, and even on max clean it can miss dirt in some areas. I think the way the vacuum moves and vacuums is largely down to its preset internal settings, which makes it follow a set pattern, like an S shape or row by row style. That kind of movement might work well for certain home layouts, but it doesn’t suit mine very well, therefore if you could choose different styles of moving / cleaning that could be a great additional feature. When it does dock, it aligns properly with the base but doesn’t lock into place, which feels a bit unstable and makes it easy to knock out of position. The self empty bin is a good size, and I’ve been pleased with how much dirt, dust, and cat hair it has managed to pick up. Using it in a smaller home with cats is also tricky as with all the cat beds, boxes, toys, etc around, I find that I must prep before every run, moving items out of the way so they don’t block or confuse the vacuum, which takes up a lot of my time. We also have doors that can’t always be left wide open because of things on the backs of doors, which makes it harder for the vacuum to move between rooms smoothly. I have also found that the vacuum is quite strong in moving items, I have had occasions where it has cleaned behind doors and then pushed them shut therefore locking itself in a room. Overall, it’s taken more time and supervision than I hoped for—whether it’s setting it up, re pairing it, or walking around beforehand to clear obstacles. For me, it doesn’t yet feel like something that truly saves time, even though it’s useful for in between cleans. I still won’t give up my corded vacuum yet, but I can see this being more suited to people with spacious homes and furniture that has higher clearance underneath, unfortunately all my furniture is just too short, so the vacuum is just too high to fit under. A smaller more powerful version with more in app control of the device would make it much more practical for people with limited space or disability needs.

Brilliant hoover
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such and amazing little gadget. It maps out your cleaning surface with all the areas and than it starts cleaning. It’s efficient, silent, cleans very well and leaves all the rooms free of dust and dirt. It can easily be managed through the app on your phone and at the end of the cleaning it shows the surfaced cleaned and the time it took hoovering. Such an amazing hoover!

Perfect for busy households esp with kids &pets
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this ! It was so easy to set up straight out of the box, and the app is brilliant really simple to use and makes scheduling and controlling it effortless. The suction is genuinely impressive. It works great on both carpets and hard floors, and it’s been amazing in a busy house with kids and pets. It picks up hair and dust brilliantly, which has really helped with allergies too. The self-empty base is a game changer so convenient and very easy to empty when needed. It’s made life so much simpler. I hoover daily as have a daughter with dust allergies so this has saved me so much time every day. Even better that it leaves hoover lines in the carpet, its really through and gets to hard to reach places that I could not get to with hoover . I can just set it off and get on with everything else. The only thing I’d love is if it had a mopping function as well –that would make it absolutely perfect! Highly recommend if you want powerful, hasslefree cleaning

Self emptying
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great that it empties itself so you don’t need to do it as often. Takes a little time to set up but once it is done you can set a timer to have it vacuum at a convenient time.

Fabulous Product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to receive this to test and review. It was easy to set up - in fact my grandson did it for me who is 12. It mapped the downstairs of my house very well and I love the fact it goes right under my cooker and gets that clean. I feel that it cleans better on the hard flooring than it does on the carpet, but it still picks up well on the carpet. I have programmed it to clean once a day at the moment and its quite funny when it starts up as Im not use to it. My only negative comment would be that it is very noisy, so I would recommend setting it to clean when it wont disturb you. Overall, a fabulous product and worth buying

Good hoover for maintenance cleans.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a multitude of shark/ninja products so was like a child buzzing with excitement when I realised they were sending me this to test and I have to say it's mostly lived upto expectations. Overall, I found that this robot vacuum performs well for general home maintenance and is particularly effective when used regularly throughout the week. While it does have a few drawbacks, its convenience and smart features make it a worthwhile addition to a fairly busy household. The suction like most robovacs, was stronger on the hard floor areas than on carpets. It does still pick up dirt on carpeted areas and performed especially well with pet (kitten) and human hair, leaving floors free of visible strands. However, it struggles with finer dust and debris, and even at its highest setting the suction feels closer to a medium level in other robovacs I have owned. This is arguably its biggest drawback. To compensate, running the vacuum more often helps maintain a level of cleanliness comparable to using a traditional vacuum. The app is one of the stronger features. It is very easy to use, with a clear and intuitive interface. You can spot clean, clean specific rooms, or run a full home clean with just a few taps. The ability to adjust suction levels (light, medium, high), set schedules, create no-go zones, customise room boundaries, and enable “Do Not Disturb” times provides a satisfying level of control and flexibility. The obstacle avoidance is good overall, with around an 85% success rate (we tested various objects ranging from wires to cat toys) It rarely gets stuck and typically only runs into issues in awkward spots such as between office chair legs or tight nooks, where it may need manual assistance. It can occasionally snag on wires, so keeping cables out of the way before cleaning is advisable. One minor frustration is that it can take a while to return to its dock, sometimes spinning around repeatedly before successfully docking. It also can get loud at times whilst hoovering making a rattling sort of sound occasionally, so best to use it during the day whilst you and your neighbours are out or at work. Setup was straightforward and well thought out. Instructions are clearly displayed on the packaging, device, and charging dock, and the app provides a step-by-step guide with estimated times for each stage. We were able to personalise a name or pick one from several suggestions in the app, we ended up naming ours the cat's nemesis, because let's just say the kitten was not too happy with our new addition. The mapping process was efficient, taking around 25 minutes to map a two-bedroom, two-bathroom floor and it captured the floor layout accurately. Overall it has averaged around 40 mins to clean the entire floor over several cleans in the past week and though I could probably do it faster by hand, it's the convenience of being able to turn it on whilst out/before going out or whilst getting on with other chores that makes this so worth its while. Maintenance is minimal thanks to the self-emptying feature, which allows the robot to empty itself and resume cleaning even mid-cycle. The 60-day bin capacity is particularly convenient, significantly reducing how often you need to empty it manually. I've found previous robovac docking stations to fill up much faster than the time advertised so will have to use this a little longer to fully know if the 60 days is accurate. The robot handles rugs and thresholds very well. Its wheels easily climb thick bathroom rugs, chair bases, and raised thresholds near windows without issue. It also cleans effectively under furniture. However, edge and corner cleaning is less impressive. Due to its round shape and single side brush, it can struggle to thoroughly clean tight corners and edges, making this another notable drawback. Alexa integration is basic but functional. It responds to simple, specific commands — for example, asking Alexa to turn on the robot will start a full home clean — but it does not recognise more complex or varied voice commands for example area/zone cleaning or adjustment of suction. The design is sleek and slimline, not too bulky or ugly a fixture to have in a hallway in plain view, which has previously been a concern with other robovac docks. This robot vacuum excels in convenience, ease of use, and routine maintenance cleaning, but you'll find it falls short if you're looking for a deeper clean for more heavy duty households. While the suction is not as powerful as a traditional vacuum and edge cleaning could be improved, running it regularly alongside the occasional deep sweep with a regular hoover or brush and pan, will keep floors consistently clean. With a nice and easy app experience, simple setup, and low-maintenance design, it is a strong option for anyone looking to automate everyday floor cleaning whilst not necessarily breaking the bank. I think it's good for a medium sized house/flat with a regular footfall or small pets.

Very impressed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this robot vacuum as part of a testing programme and I have to say I am thoroughly impressed with the ease of use and the product performance. I have given it a full week of testing and sending it out and trying various features to form a complete opinion. I found it very simple to set up and get working from the box, the instructions are clear and easy to follow, the app is simple and easy to use and download - it connected to the wifi seamlessly. It needed charging upon receipt, it was around 40% charged when I plugged it in and it didn't take too long to get to 100% a couple of hours approx. I found that when it did the initial mapping it did seem to miss some small areas of the flooring, and the first couple of vacuum cycles it didn't go over some areas however the spot clean function rectified this as I was able to send it back out to go over where it had missed. I did notice that within a few days it was doing a more thorough clean and I have to say I can't believe I have managed so long without one of these in the house. It picked up the missed areas and by day 3-4 it was covering the entire downstairs of the house which I found very impressive and useful. It is perfect for keeping a maintained level of clean on the floors, and with having pets and people walking around with shoes on etc it has made such a difference to the floor cleanliness. I will point out that this is a small robot hoover with a small capacity so it is not designed to replace a full vacuum in my opinion, however it is amazing for keeping floors maintained and I noticed significantly less dirt in the main vacuum when doing a vacuum round as this is keeping on top of things for me. I found it very simple to set up a schedule, and I have been making sure to keep the floors clear to allow it a proper run around the house on a daily basis which it has been doing perfectly and on time. It has some noise when going round on it's cycle but I don't find it too disturbing, but I would say if you are working from home you may wish to set it to go out when you are not on calls etc as it does play some music when starting and finishing and there is some noise from the vacuum. I also wouldn't set my schedule to go round in the night as I do think a lighter sleeper will hear it however I would say that for anything, I certainly wouldn't vacuum late at night if people were sleeping. It has variable settings so you can set it to be on a higher suction or lower - I tended to keep it on the middle option, and just used the highest option for if I felt it needed to go back out to get some dirt it had missed, or if it was struggling to pick up any cotton/fibres that had been trodden into the carpet. I have found this to be an excellent product and it has performed better than I expected, as mentioned before it is not a replacement for a full size vacuum for me but that was my expectation level from the start. To do a complete clean of downstairs (all rooms) it takes around a hour, so definitely slower than if I was to vacuum myself but I find the convenience wins over the time taken for me, its something I don't need to worry about doing myself and it is going up and down in lines, arguably more accurate than myself as I would just be pushing it up and down quickly and not paying attention to whether I have covered areas line by line. It self empties during the clean if it is full, or if it completes a full clean it will empty at the end, this then goes into the unit and it stores it up, after the first clean I did open it up to see how much it had gathered and was impressed at the amount of dirt (the container on the unit is very easy to open and empty also). Some points to note are it is a circular shape, it will not get every single nook and cranny to exist in your home, however I would say the same with an upright or cordless vacuum, you will still need to use different attachments to get into areas the head can't reach - it is the same for this. The only thing I feel that is missing is that the app doesn't show the location of the robot vacuum cleaner, it shows it's station but you can't see which room it has gone to, and while I can hear where it is when I am downstairs, if I am upstairs with a door shut I am unaware of it's location so would be great to see a tracking feature in the app. Overall I think this is a great item, it keeps the home clean and I would highly recommend, it is thorough, good for maintaining the home and easy to use.
