Camera is great but cannot understand why it is not on the Yale view platform and that fact was not obvious to me when I purchased it

Serial number too difficult to read even with a magnifieing glass you will need an IG8 phone or above to be able to operate and install so far unsuccessful

Purchased the Yale video doorbell , Outdoor and indoor camera. Excellent products competitively priced. I specifically like the ability to turn the spotlight on on the outdoor camera and also sound the siren if there are any unwanted visitors up to no good. Hopefully this will be enough as a deterrent without the. Need for confrontation. All good so far.

Great Value!
The camera is great value, we mostly use it to keep an eye on the dog whilst she's home alone - it's great how you can listen in but mute your own microphone, likewise you can talk through the camera too. The camera is VERY sensitive - if your dog is as active as mine you might want to turn on privacy mode every now and then, but I can't fault the camera!

A step Backwards
have 4 cameras that link to the view app, this one only links to the home app, it’s clunky to turn live view on and off and when you turn live view on it records any movement, you can’t schedule it out. A huge step backwards,Buy one of the older models that links to the view app.

Yale home not Yale View
Read the small print, this camera only works with the Yale home app, my other 4 cameras work with the home view app. It’s a pain to switch between them and after hours of research I’m still no wiser if I can link my other cameras to the home app. Had the same issue a couple of years ago buying a Yale external siren that looked identical to the SMART one I should have bought for my system. Yale are really poor at identifying what work with what system and what app, j
