Built to capture crisp 2K video both day and night, these wireless cameras feature colour night vision and a built-in spotlight that illuminates everything within a 5m range. The 130-degree field of view gives you wide coverage, whilst the 12x zoom lets you zero in on important details. When paired with an Arlo Secure subscription (sold separately), you unlock smart AI detection that identifies people, vehicles, animals and even fire, giving you early warnings before situations escalate.
Two-way audio lets you speak through the camera to reassure family, check on pets, or warn visitors. The built-in siren and spotlight activate automatically with motion, adding deterrence. Designed for outdoor use with DIY installation, these wireless cameras run on rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. Compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri, you control them via the Arlo Secure App. The box includes 2 Arlo Essential 3 cameras, wall mounts, screws, charging cables, a quick start guide, and a security decal. Is it very easy to assemble and the app you download is quite easy to understand and follow instruction to install properly. The camera and sound quality is also quite good. And love the alarm option and that you can decide if you wish for it to record the video or not. Great product for both indoors and outdoors,.

Impressive product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These cameras are an improvement to my previous security cameras and I can see the difference in the quality of the picture very clearly. I think it’s good you can manage the cameras with or without the subscription so you can subscribe when you’re away from home but also manually manage when you are not going to be far from home. The battery power is really good and I like that it didn’t need electrical installation and simply charges via usb as my previous cameras needed to be installed by a professional. It’s very clever that they simply clip on and off when charging is required.

Yes, all Arlo cameras, including the Arlo Essential 3 Outdoor Camera, can detect motion without an Arlo Secure subscription. Without a plan, your camera will send you a push notification whenever motion is detected. However, an Arlo Secure plan is required to record and store videos in our Arlo cloud and access them through our Arlo Secure app.

Yes - it appears to offer motion detection without the subscription, but the subscription is needed for the smart AI detection features.
