Great value indoor security cameras
The Arlo Essential 3 Pan/Tilt 2K Indoor Security Camera (2-Cam) was quick and easy to set up using the app and QR code on the phone, and only took a few minutes to get up and running. The cameras provide very clear 2K video with good colour during the day and clear night vision. The pan and tilt feature means you can move the camera to see more of the room, which is really useful. I'm using one camera in the window pointing towards the car due to a recent spate of burglaries in the area, and the other is used indoors to keep an eye on the dog while we are at work, which has been great. The cameras also include AI facial recognition and are compatible with Amazon Alexa. Subcription is required to save videos, otherwise you need to check the live app when you are alerted to motion. Overall, they are reliable cameras with really good picture and sound quality, and work really well for home security and monitoring pets.

Great hardware ruined by a clunky privacy shield
Good - Complete Coverage: The pan and tilt feature is smooth and silent, allowing for a full scan of the room via the app. Good 2K Picture: A noticeable step up from standard HD; digital zoom remains sharp enough to identify faces or small details. Two-Way Talk: Clear audio that works well for quick check-ins, though it can occasionally sound a bit muffled depending on your Wi-Fi strength. Not-So-Good - Privacy Shield 'Lag': An annoying issue is that the privacy shield closes automatically every time you close the app or switch modes. When you want a quick peek, you have to wait for the shield to mechanically click open. Not for Stealth: If you're checking on sleeping kids, discretion is impossible. The shield "comes to life" with a mechanical sound EVERY. TIME. you open the feed, which can startle a light sleeper. Subscription Reliance: Advanced AI (distinguishing a person from a pet) and cloud storage for your clips are locked behind the Arlo Secure monthly plan.

ARLO-Great invention through one lens
Excellent image quality, was very easy to set up and connect to app. Although cameras are afforable you need a subscription to save the recordings-(my only downfall) Its smooth, quiet, and the response time is quick and efficient. Very sharp 2K video colors in daylight and clear black-and-white during night use. Great for many uses around the home. There are activity zones and privacy zones for blocking out anything you don’t want recorded, plus AI-powered facial recognition that can be trained on photos of members of your household, and a siren that acts as a burglar alarm. It'll also alert you when it hears a smoke alarm, or spots a fire. Definitely hits all stars for me except the saved recording issue with a subscription.

Great indoor cameras
Just unboxed and set these up. Very easy to put together and includes a QR code to scan on your phone. I really like the way they move compared to my older and much smaller camera which doesn’t move at all. The visual and sound quality of these is far superior too so they are going to be so much better for watching our dog while we are at work. This pair of great cameras tick all the boxes for our needs and would definitely recommend!

Great dog sitter!
Very good indoor cameras. Easy to set up, just download the app to your mobile phone and follow the instructions. Took only minutes to get them up and running. My grandchildren loved the fact that the cameras followed their movements. Clear video playback and no sound distortion. Great to be able to check in on the dog when we are out.
