This does have a 3.5mm socket so it is possible to connect it to a suitably compatible device via cable that way.

This will depend on the age/version of the iPod Nano & you have (2012 or 2015).
For older ones, it cannot support Bluetooth wireless headphones natively as it has no built-in Bluetooth functionality. It might be possible to use a third-party Bluetooth transmitter adapter that you'd slot into the device's 3.5mm headphone socket.
For wireless connection, it connects to devices via Bluetooth 5.3.
