Great home hub for the family

We love this device, a brilliant upgrade from our echo dot. The screen is sharp and we use it as a digital photo frame when it’s not being used and in the background. The sound is great too- very clear. It links well with our Ring doorbell, heating app and our Amazon account. We are also using it as our family calendar and setting up reminders. The only picky complaint I have is that it has to be constantly plugged in, but that’s only a very small drawback. Great item overall.

An impressive step forward

Out of the box, the Amazon Echo Show 11 is very well packaged. Once plugged in, like all Amazon eco-system products, it quickly loaded my preferences from other Echo devices, and I was ready to go in 5 minutes, post a software update. When trialling music, the speaker, whilst it still doesn't beat a true Hi-Fi, the sound quality is ridiculously good. Find the right surface, wood, glass, granite - the speaker really packs a punch, very clear treble, and almost fills the room. If you subscribe to Amazon Music, you'll be in for a treat with high resolution music sounding fantastic. In comparison with older Echo Show's, this Echo Show 11 has come a long way since the first generation. The design is crisp, with the touchscreen not only very responsive, it is very bright and detailed. Videos come across very clear using what video apps are available, such as Amazon Prime Video. The new processing power equals significantly quicker to "Alexa" prompts, especially helpful for checking in on Ring cameras. Overall, a strong leap in quality, retaining a lot of the features Echo Show's have been known for over the years, and can be used across the home in stylish, slick package.

Definitely a must for all kitchens.

My echo show 11 came well packaged with easy to follow instructions and so simple to set up. It connected eaily with my other alexa products and also my tapo camera. The screen id big and bright and has a fantastic picture when playing things from prime and other streaming network's. Although on occasions it does freeze. I love all the recipes that bob up on the screen and have been tempted by quite a few. The weather updates are handy, i can add to my shoppong list as i run out of things whilst cooking . I love the fact it does a slideshow with all my pictures. The kids love it, from asking alexa to play there favourite music and for the joke of a day. Its put a smile on there faces and weve found ourselves laughing and having fun whilst cooking tea and doing things in the kitchen. Its definitely an improvement to the older smaller echos. I didn't know i needed this until i got it.

Powerful & Impressive Echo Show, Just Needs Tweaks

I am very impressed and it has been a great upgrade for my smart home. The larger screen is bright and clear, perfect for videos, checking the weather, or viewing smart home feeds. The sound quality is superb — rich, loud and easily fills the room. I liked the design, the responsive touchscreen, Setup was quick and smooth — it recognised all my existing smart devices instantly. One feature I especially enjoyed was the camera auto-follow during Drop-In, which worked brilliantly. I was also able to view all my cameras at once, which is very convenient. Streaming worked well — Amazon Prime Video looked crisp, and the video quality is generally very good. There are still a few areas for improvement. YouTube opens in the Silk browser and struggled to play HD video, which was disappointing. The camera is good for calls but it’s strange that saying “Alexa, take a selfie” isn’t supported — definitely feels like a missing feature for such a smart display. The widget layout can still feel a bit cluttered at times, but the overall experience is smooth. Overall, the Echo Show 11 is a powerful and stylish smart display with excellent sound, a great screen, useful camera features, and strong smart home integration. Just a few small software limitations keep it from being perfect.

Great sound and features

Better sound quality and features than expected has linked up to all my alexa gadgets and ring door bell so get to see and hear great quality. Brilliant bass sound when listening to music videos and nice large screen to watch tv programs etc definitely a big improvement from previous models

Echo Show 11 should I or not?

The Amazon Echo Show 11 feels like Amazon finally said “Alright, let’s grow up a bit” and delivered a device that actually earns the smart part of smart display. Alexa & Smart Home Control This is where the Echo Show 11 shines. Smart home controls are easier to reach, faster to load and the interface feels more modern. Routines run smoothly and the device reacts quicker than older Echo generations. It’s basically a command centre for your home, minus the Mission Impossible drama. Daily Use Timers, calendar views, weather, music, Netflix, Ring doorbell feeds - it handles the everyday stuff with zero fuss. If you’re upgrading from a Show 8 or 10, you’ll notice the speed jump immediately. Downsides? Nothing dramatic. It’s a bit pricey if you only want basic Alexa features and the larger size means you’ll want a stable surface. But those are small trade-offs for the convenience. The Echo Show 11 is easily Amazon’s best smart display to date. If you want something that looks great, sounds great and pulls your smart home together without a tantrum, this one’s a winner.

Fantastic upgrade from the Show 8

As a previous Show 8 user, this is a fantastic upgrade, the larger screen ensures that when cooking I can still the screen to follow the recipe. The screen takes a touch getting used to, but, when you do, you won’t go back to a smaller screen. The speaker quality is fantastic and loud enough to be used for a small party. I am considering getting another one for the bedroom

Not quite there yet!

I have always had an echo show this has replaced the 8 in the kitchen. Firstly the screen is much bigger and also more clear which is good for watching video or following recipes. Another positive is the sound is so much better than previous shows which is my main use of this as I play music in the kitchen all the time. This also syncs up well to my other smart devices (Doorbell,heating,lighting etc) and allows me to control them from the screen.On a negative the touch screen appears a bit clunky and not very responsive when navigating which can get quite annoying. If you usually watch netflix on your show then this doesn't have an app for that yet though I am hopeful that future software updates will sort these problems. Overall impressive sound but the problems with the touch screen and no netflix app loses stars for me,but hopefully this will be improved.

Best Show yet

I’ve had various Amazon devices through the years but this is by far the best one I’ve owned yet. The sound quality is superb and the screen is a great size. The device is very well quick to set up, which I found best with assistance from the app and the home screen can be quickly adjusted to your preferred set up, which is always handy. I’ve linked my device to my ring doorbell as well so you receive handy notifications. Alexa can show you footage of who’s delivered a parcel, etc, which is great.
