Best set I’ve built
Being a Millenial this was a set I knew i wanted. But i could not have hoped it being this good. First off this set has 2 stickers to apply in it that’s all, all other details are prints. Never had a set of this value with such low number of stickers. The build itself if really enjoyable and loads of unusual build techniques that come together brilliantly. Then the fact that it’s 1:1 scaled and that the buttons feel and move like a proper Gameboy. Cole with display stands that act as storage for the lenticular scenes. All we need now is an add on game cartridge pack with Pokemon …. Be ideal tie in for the 2026 Pokemon sets and licence Lego ;). If you’re a Lego fan or a gamer this set is a must and that’s not even considering the price and value of it.

A love letter to my childhood
I was gifted this for Christmas and my word it was the best present. The build is wonderful, starting off with the games, and progressing onwards. The moment when it starts to really come together it's beautiful. The fact that even though it's not a real Gameboy, but you still have a function d pad, buttons, click of the power button and contrast and volume buttons, are such a nostalgic nod, even the sticky button, you just feel like you are back in Christmas of pass. The screen part is stunning. Even the instruction booklet, felt like the information pack you'd get It took me just over an hour to make it, and none of it felt like a chore, or annoying.

Lego at its best
I think this is one of the best lego sets if you like gameboy. It looks like a gameboy, feels like a gameboy and putting it together and seeing all the parts has to be experienced. Its highly satisfying putting this together and it looks fantastic. Its amazing how someone can design and engineer all the parts.

I bought for my son, it is a Christmas present. But Argus delivered it and the box was in tact with no dents or scratches.
