Better than a condenser for the planet
This Hisense unit replaced an expensive condenser dryer that had stopped drying and had been costly to run (meaning relatively high CO2 emissions). I went to the shop expecting condenser dryers to be cheaper than heat pumps but I was wrong. I was expecting a dryer at the budget end of the offerings to have limited options for drying cycles but I was wrong. I had had to resort to using a dehumidifier to dry my washing for a while until getting the Hisense... but using a dehumidifier takes ages; the Hisense gives me shorter drying time and Google AI tells me "...the cost of drying washing with a heat pump dryer is generally cheaper per load than using a dehumidifier with a drying rack". And it's the best I can get to keep my carbon footprint down. I think it's win win for me and the planet. Yay!

Lovely machine
Have only used it a few times and I am really impressed. Love all the different programmes which means you can walk away and know it will be dry when it's finished, not guesswork like my old one

Heat pump tumble dryer
Great machine, plenty of different programs, I've used it twice so far on towels and was very pleased with the results. The dial is all black so hard to see what program you've selected, to solve this I put a thin strip of a white sticky label on the dial where the selector points. The noise isn't too bad, a lot better than my previous machine. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and I would definitely recommend you buy one.

Very Quiet
Received the new dryer last week and used it a few times, I couldn't believe how quiet it was compared to our old one. Good features with auto dry and many others. Our old one was a conventional condenser dryer, this is a new Heat Pump one that should be more economical, but it take a little longer to dry the cloths. I haven't calculated the energy consumption vs the drying time to see if it really more economical, all in all for the money 9/10
