About this product
The Philips OneUp 5000 Series Electric Mop is a cordless floor cleaner that tackles grease, stains, sticky dirt, and fine dust on hard floors and laminate. It uses patented OneUp technology to pump clean water onto the floor while quietly sucking up dirty water, keeping everything separate in integrated tanks. It's light to carry around, and the rotating hinge gets you right into awkward corners and under furniture. The battery runs for over an hour and takes a few hours to fully charge, with a low battery indicator so you're not caught out mid-clean.
You get machine-washable, reusable pads that dry faster than regular mopping, and it uses far less water than a manual mop. There's no messing about with buckets or wringing, and the tanks refill and empty easily without you having to touch any dirty water. It comes with one pad, a detergent cartridge that replaces several bottles of regular detergent, and a power cable. Works across hard floors and laminate, and it's designed for medium to large homes. The whole thing is compact and pretty tall, so it stores away without taking up much space.

Super Easy and Quick
Love this. I’m a clean floor freak but I was nervous that it would be another gadget pushed to the back of a cupboard. I’ve got wooden floors throughout and a dog who roams everywhere when she’s not sleeping and dribbling. I can now zip through the floor cleaning in a quarter of the time. The floors are way cleaner than with the old bucket and mop method & they dry in minutes. I may try alternative cleaning solutions because of cost but we’ll see how it goes.

The best floor mop system I have come across
I saw a demonstration of this product on one of the Shopping channels and decided to check it out on Argos were I found it was cheaper. The only disappointment was the instruction manual which is purely diagrams, but not very clear ones. Some of the other leaflets in the box were in a variety of languages except English! I then spotted a QR code on the inside lid of the box and once scanned, I was able to download a proper user manual. There was enough charge in the mop to use it straight away and I was very impressed that the small amount of water that it used along with the detergent bottle of which you only use a tiny drop Was more than enough to Clean the downstairs and upstairs of my house. It took me less than 20 minutes to do the entire house and the water in waste tank tank was very dirty. I rinsed the mop head under the sink and it was very easy to clean although there wasn't much dirt on it as it's sucked up straight away as soon as it dispenses it. It was extremely quiet to the point where you had to look at the switch which lights up to see if it was on. First impressions are very good, it is lightweight, a little too tall to go in the under stair cupboard but it sits nicely in the corner and with the mop head on doesn't slide onto the floor. It is a considered purchase for a mop, but after several uses, I think it is money well spent as it is quick to set up, easy to use And you only have to give a quick rinse for of the dirty water container and the mop head when you have finished. The best thing for me was It is cordless which made it much quicker as I went from room to room Also no trailing wires to fall over.

A very convenient, well designed time saver!
Very convenient and ideal for a "once-over" on the floor and less risky than a steamer. We have Amtico, but excellent for tiles, marble and sealed wood. Lightweight and with sufficient battery power for an average kitchen.

Pretty Good So Far
The Philips OneUp 5000 certainly picks up the dirty that other mops dont. Fairly easy to assemble and use, instructions are pictorial so no hunting for the language you use, as to how long the battery, detergent or mop head will last has her to be seen. Doesn't leave the floor "dry" but certainly dryer than other mops, so far I would recommend this product.

I would not recommend this, as even though it does clean it leaves the floors very wet and does not pick up the dirt as well as a hand mop.

I Bought this a week ago after looking at all the reviews.Must say they are all true as this machine does exactly as described.Dries very quickly easy to assemble and clean.Not too hard to manage either and leaves the floors clean.A God buy.
