Very happy with this monitor

Very good bang for your buck
Monitor has really good value for money. I tend to play in the dark but it can be slightly too dim during the day. Resolution, latency, refresh rate and contrast are all perfect.

Best Value for Money
After a month of daily use, I’m genuinely impressed with the AOC Q27G42XNE. The biggest upgrade is easily the 180 Hz refresh rate. Everything feels noticeably smoother compared to my old 60 Hz display, especially in fast-paced games such as Black Ops 7 and Overwatch where motion clarity and responsiveness really matter and give a competitive edge. The QHD (2560×1440) resolution on a 27-inch screen makes games like Minecraft and GTA V and Borderlands and Cyberpunk look sharp and detailed without making text or UI elements too small, which also makes it great for browsing and work. Adaptive Sync support keeps gameplay smooth and tear-free, and input lag feels low, particularly in the monitor’s low-latency mode which nullifies the occasional smearing seen in other VA panels with moving dark objects. The VA panel delivers strong contrast and deep blacks, which makes darker scenes in games and movies look good, though colour accuracy isn’t quite on the same level as a high-end IPS display but this monitor is the best at this price point. HDR10 support is included, but brightness limitations mean it’s more of a bonus feature than a standout one. Build quality is solid and the slim bezels look clean on a desk, although the included stand only offers tilt adjustment no height adjustment or ability to turn the monitor to portrait mode so using a VESA mount or monitor arm improves ergonomics. The built-in speakers are usable in a pinch but nothing special. Overall, it strikes a great balance between performance, resolution, and price, making it a strong value choice for gamers who want smooth QHD gameplay without overspending.
