About this product
The Athina 500mm Wall Unit adds practical storage without taking up floor space in your kitchen. It's a compact unit that fits neatly above worktops or sinks, giving you somewhere to keep plates, mugs and everyday essentials within easy reach. The white finish works with most kitchen styles and colour schemes. There's one door with a metal handle that opens smoothly, and an adjustable shelf inside so you can set the height to suit what you're storing. The scratch-resistant surface stands up to daily use and the occasional knock.
The wood effect design keeps it sturdy while the white front stays easy to wipe clean after cooking. It's 70cm tall, 50cm wide, and 30.5cm deep, a size that suits standard kitchen layouts without dominating the wall. The shelf moves up or down to fit taller bottles or shorter jars. Metal handles give you a firm grip when opening. Assembly required, you'll need two people to put it together safely. Clear instructions and fixings included.

Great value for money!
I bought these for my recently renovated garage, and I'm very happy with them. Instructions were accurate without exception. I glued mine together for a bit of extra security. You should pay close attention that the cupboards are square (by measuring across corners) before nailing the backs in place.

Reasonable quality and building instructions good but overall not as good as IKEA although probably much cheaper. Doors larger than the unit carcase not helpful (IKEA doors are smaller which helps)

Hello there,
I have spoken to our supplier who have advised as follows.
The shelf inside the unit is adjustable and can be removed if the customer wishes.
Regarding using it under a basin, the customer would need to check the space they have available under/around the sink.
This unit is 700mm (H) x 500mm (W) x 307mm (D).
One thing I should point out is that the primary function for this unit is as a kitchen wall unit, there is some exposed chipboard at the back (see below). Although there is only a small reveal, if this unit is to be used under a sink, there is a chance water could get into the board.

Hello there, you can put this in the bath room if that is where it is going to suit your needs. As long as it is installed by following the instructions and the wall structure can accept the weight of the cupboard and contents then the of course, choice would be yours,
