Argos refused a return and is breaking the law
I ordered this online, picked it up at a Sainsburys, and when I opened the box, discovered it was not what I needed. I tried to return it less than 24 hours later -- in its original packaging -- but Argos refused to accept. They claimed that because I had opened the box, it was 'used'. They, of course, must accept an order sold online when it is returned within 14 days. This law exists because you have the right to see merchandise before finalising an sale. It is my understanding Argos has broken the law, and we are seeking legal advice at this point. Be very very careful buying an electronic item from them. Their advertising states they accept returns for any reason for 30 days (including electronics items), and there is no other major seller I can think of who would try to break the law like this.

I bought this laptop as I am a fan of Lenovo. This particular model has an Intel chip with the performance of a 2013 processor. I would move on to better things if you are serious about design, video editing and so on. It is perfect for light use and the price is outstanding.
