Easy to use
Easy to handle, clear instructions. Compact enough to stand on each stair tread. As clean as I thought my carpet was, the water was still slightly dirty. A good suction.

Easy cleaner to use and clean.
How clean items come up depends on how good the cleaning solution used. I found after one full tank of cleaning solution mixed with warm water, it takes up to 40 degree, I managed to clean a lot of patches from the hall carpet and clean the seating on my 2 long sofas, You press the leaver in to let solution out and onto the surface to be cleaned, then just push forwards and backwards to brush the area before pushing the front edge of the head down slightly and dragging back to collect the dirty solution, you can see the dirty water being sucked up and going into the collection tank, the hose is clear so you can see to clean it properly, which is done by removing the cleaning head and holding it in the hole at the back of the unit , you press a button for the clean water to rush through the hose for cleaning , this comes with easy to follow instructions, this is a very easy unit to clean, the tanks remove and I could fit them in my kitchen sink to run water through from the tap, this is so much easier to clean out than my upright carpet shampooer. I found this easy to carry around, a little weighty, while using and comfy to hold and gives a good impression of being a good quality solid cleaner. Hose is about 150cm long, cleaning head with the brush in it is 10cm wide. This spot washer for me ticks all the boxes and enables me to clean any number of items including dog coats and things I can't put in the washing machine, so long as I use the right cleaning solution for the item. The noise for me - quiet means it won't wake my hubby when day sleeping so I ticked the next one up - ambient.

What a brilliant gadget
I bought this two weeks ago to clean small areas of a cream coloured carpet (we have grandchildren). We had a carpet cleaning company come two years ago, but the marks soon came back as the carpet dried. Anyway, this new vax, brilliant. Easy to use and gets the job done easily. Very pleased with it. Just it could be a little quieter.
