Sanding down old furniture or prepping surfaces for painting? The McGregor 300W Orbital Sander smooths wood and painted surfaces with consistent power. It's a corded electric sander so you won't lose momentum halfway through the job. The 125mm hook-and-loop disc makes swapping sandpaper quick and tool-free. You'll adjust speed to match delicate or heavy-duty tasks using variable speed control. The rubber over-mould grip reduces hand fatigue during longer sanding sessions.
It's got three sanding sheets included in 80, 100 and 120 grit for different finishing stages. The hook-and-loop system secures sandpaper firmly without fiddly clips or clamps. You'll keep your workspace cleaner with the dust extraction adaptor and collection box. A soft grip handle and rear handle provide control from different working angles. The 2m cable gives you freedom to move around medium workspaces. This orbital sander weighs just 1.15kg so overhead work feels less tiring.

A very good product for the money

Not the best.
This was on offer at £16 . I had a small amount of sanding to do on a wall after filling in a channel cut for a wall light. I had made good with multi purpose filler.The the sanding paper fell off the hook and loop backing pad after 5 minutes of use. The filler was fairly smooth to start with so it was not exactly working hard or under duress . It was a medium sanding paper. I changed to the smoothest sanding paper and proceeded to sand with the absolute lightest of pressure and it lasted a little longer before the sanding paper fell off. If used with the absolute lightest of pressures it will work with a degree of success. The Velcro/ hook and loop backing pad is not the best. Can’t expect too much for £16. I will try and be patient.

I had no problem with it for the price
Used it to sand a large area of a ceiling after the area had been filled, this did the job, only thing that lets it down is the way you have to hold it isn’t as comfortable as it probably would be with a larger sander with a handle etc. But I had no problems with it.

Good orbital sander for the money.
Was looking for cheapish orbital sander.wanted to remove varnish and wood sheen from exterior hardwood front door.the machine is great,but dust collector just flew off.managed to get some 40grit paper from another retail outlet.poped on sander results great.over all pleased with it.
