About this product
This extra-large ironing board speeds up laundry time, giving you plenty of room to tackle bedding and everyday clothes without constant adjustments. The generous surface means fewer repositions and quicker results, while the heat-resistant zone on the cover lets you rest your iron face-down safely as you move things around. It's thoughtfully designed with wheeled legs that make it easy to shift about, plus levers on both sides for straightforward opening and closing.
The cover is made from cotton with a layer of felt and thick foam padding underneath, so steam passes through efficiently and you get better results. You can adjust the height to suit you, and the cover comes off for a quick machine wash when it needs freshening up. It's sturdy enough for standard irons and steam generators, and Addis backs it with a five-year guarantee. Just the kind of reliable everyday kit that makes ironing less of a chore.

Customers Say
Spacious, sturdy, and well-padded ironing board with adjustable height and wheels for easy movement. Some users report wobbling and stability issues, but overall it offers great size and comfort for large items.

Not that stable
Design is very good, but in terms of stability is wobbly

Not so great
I previously owned what I thought was the same ironing board in blue (same price), this one is very poor in comparison.

Reolacement
Bought as a replacement for my old board. Brilliant size. Sturdy, secure closer, no more fighting with free falling legs when moving. I bought the replacement cover and added that to the board before use (something I always do). The cover is none slip, wasn't sure it would work but it's great even for heavier items like my cotton work tunics. If I had to pick one fault it would be that it's not as sturdy when up compared to my old board. That said, I am overall pleased with this purchase.

Excellent ironing board. 10 out of 10.
I spent some time reading reviews on a number of ironing boards, before choosing this one. I am really pleased with it. It is very stable, the large surface area makes ironing quicker, the padding is very thick and the wheels are a real aid to moving it about. It is easy to fold and there is a clip to keep it shut. Well worth the extra money and I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

Customer health and safety risk.
The ironing board collapsed onto my feet three times while I was ironing with a steam iron on a high temperature setting. I thought that the first two problems must have been because I had not set it up correctly. But after the third time I checked underneath and saw that the simple ratchet retainer system was misaligned i.e. a shoddy piece of assembly. I returned the product to my local Argos and found that assembly faults with this Addis product are common. This means that Argos is knowingly selling a randomly hazardous product. Disgraceful. I have photographs and am considering a report to Trading Standards.

Great size ironing board
I bought this on Sunday - it does have a couple off paint chips and digs but I don’t mind as it’s splendid to use. It’s a great size for cotton shirts and blouses - making my ironing quicker and less awkward. I would recommend it if you do not mind the scuffs.
