Just right for the job

Not fit for the job
This airbed has a built in pump which didn’t seem particularly good but did the job. On each of the 4 nights that the bed was used most of the air came out, even though it was only being used by a small child. Gave up and used cushions instead. A complete waste of money.

Once and only once.
I bought this to use at Christmas but found it unstable. If I moved off Centre the air would rush to the other side and throw me off. An uncomfortable night ensued.

A decent night’s sleep
This was bought to enable us to watch over our dog after an operation. It is more comfortable than I was expecting, and is proving to be most useful.

Hello Kaz.
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Silentnight Single Airbed with Foot Pump and Pillow.
Use a foot pump only. Electric pumps are not compatible with this air bed.
Thank you for using Q & A.
Hello,
To deflate your Silentnight airbed with the built-in foot pump, you simply press down on the foot pump repeatedly as if inflating, but with the valve open to "deflate" mode, which pushes air out, then roll it up tightly, starting from the opposite end, to expel remaining air and get it compact for storage.
Here's a step-by-step guide:
Locate the Valve: Find the valve where you normally pump air in (often near the foot end or in the built-in pump mechanism).
Open the Valve: Twist or flip the valve to the "deflate" or "open" setting (you might see an arrow pointing out) to allow air to escape.
Use the Foot Pump (Reverse): Press down on the foot pump in the same way you did to inflate, but this time it will suck the air out instead of blowing it in, or just push air out if it's a simple valve.
Roll and Squeeze: Once most of the air is out, start from the end opposite the valve and roll the mattress towards the valve, pressing down as you go to force out any trapped air.
Secure for Storage: Once fully compressed, use the straps provided (if any) to keep it rolled tightly and place it in the carry bag.
Tip: It might take a few tries with the pump and rolling to get it as compact as when you first bought it, but it's designed to deflate quickly.
Have a nice day!
