Clean, fluffy clothes - welcome to my life!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Delighted is an understatement, I have loved receiving this sleek and shiny washer/dryer. Initially apprehensive about poor drying reviews of combo washer/dryers, this proved I had nothing to be worried about as my clothes have dried beautifully. I even have the most delicious feeling fluffy towels again!! No more abrasive drying after my shower. Choosing to install myself, this was simple to connect and the instructions were clear in the manual. I did not connect to the phone app, so cannot comment on that as of yet, but it seems like a handy feature. The interface is easy to use and can clearly see what each setting offers, I've had no issues navigating optional settings as it's quite intuitive and again the manual is clear. The machine enjoyed a drum clean before I got stuck into some loads of washing I'd saved up for its arrival! I think my most used functions will be the Power Wash and Dry and the Pets function, as my little kitty likes to cover everything in fur. Both have left my clothes feeling soft and looking way less crushed and sad than my previous machine, which I put down to the wonderful steam feature. I also think allergy care will be great for when my allergies play up the most. There's some noise to be expected from high spinning but the general washing/drying noise is so low, I couldn't recall whether I'd put it on! I love how it fits and looks in my kitchen, I love that it's reducing time spent doing housework and my mental load, no more remembering to hang to dry! This has already made my life easier. Did I mention the auto dosing yet? Because wow! This seemed like such a luxury purchase for me but feel like these features will be essential for me going forward. Great buy and initially so impressed with the Hisense 5i washer dryer.

Quiet machine with impressive features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a busy, working, single mum, this washer dryer has been a god-send. I love the huge drum capacity, which helps me get through my inevitable washing backlog, and is way quieter than any washing machine I've had before. I love the features like the auto-dosing. It automatically adjusts how much detergent it uses so I have one less thing to think about. The auto clean function is my favourite because I don't have to make a decision at all! The app has been easy to set up and use, and I love that the notification to tell me the washing is complete is that little push I need to get it hung up or to switch it to a dry cycle if I want to. With a cat and a dog in our household, the washer dryer also has handled pet bedding very well! I'm very happy with my choice and have no complaints about this machine. I'm also happy that I was able to install it myself ( although an extra set of muscles might have helped a little!)

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from a 7kg washer dryer and first point is that I love the size of this drum. You can fig so much in, which is great as a family of 4. Even on a full load everything seems to come out clean. The wash cycle for a full load is also only 49 minutes, 30mins faster than my old machine. All this whilst being A rated. Energy consumption is really on my mind with the cost of energy currently. I think it is great that it gives an accurate timer for the remaining cycle, I have known many machines claim 4 minutes and it actually take 10. It also gives you stats for energy and water consumption post wash. There are loads of different settings and it has been great for big and small loads as well as a couple of drying jobs. One of my favourite features is the anti-crease setting. A delayed wash doesn't always pan out for me as I can't always guarantee how long I will be away from the machine. This way I know my washing is ready to hang when I come to it without sitting flat for too long. My only bug bare was the auto dosing. I needed to increase the amounts which I did through the app, after increasing I found that softener was being used but not detergent despite both being selected. It took a bit of fiddling to resolve. Overall I am impressed with the features, energy consumption and size of drum despite fitting into my counter space.

Top Of the Line Washer Dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’re finally buying our own house (at last!), and this Washer Dryer has truly been a blessing, it feels amazing to choose the appliances we want instead of whatever the landlord provided. The 5i KitchenFit Series WD5I1045BWQ is honestly AMAZING. I’m a tech guy at heart, and this machine feels like a little taste of the future. It has automatic detergent dosing, both washing and drying in one unit, an LCD touch panel, and even a connected app that lets you control everything from afar. What I really appreciate is that the app is optional, you can still access all the core functions directly on the machine, which is a big plus in my book. One feature that surprised me is the drum light. It might sound unnecessary, but it’s incredibly useful, especially when the kitchen is dark, it makes a real difference. In Eco Mode, it’s very efficient and cheap to run, though the cycles are a bit long (as expected with eco settings). The dryer is not the most economical, it can be a little pricey to use, but I see it as something handy for when you really need it rather than for daily use. It’s definitely better to have the option than not. This is the first appliance we’ve bought for our new home, and I’m genuinely thrilled with it. In fact, it’s convinced me to look at more Hisense products for the rest of the house. It might sound odd to say, but even the design of this washer is beautiful, it really adds to the feeling that I’m building the modern, tech-filled home I’ve always wanted. Overall, I’m really, really happy with this purchase and couldn’t recommend it enough.

Versatile and efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great machine this new Hisense WD5I1045BWQ washer/dryer is.  Pleasing to the eye and stylishly modern, the sleek looks would add a touch of class to any kitchen.  It slots into the allocated space with ease.  The large 10.5kg drum can fit a complete betting set change in to wash and the quality of the wash is excellent.  I have used a number of the many available cycles and all are good - I especially like the pet cycle which is designed to remove hairs which is always useful when you have a dog or cat.  Quiet, A-rated washing and auto dosing for liquid detergent is not just environmentally friendly, but also good for my pocket.  The 6kg drying cycle works very well, touch dry with soft results.  An easy to use and clear display, which makes it easy to select the cycle wanted and overall the cycles are very quick to complete.  I would recommend this machine for any household.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The time had come to change from my 6kg washing machine which has been very good over the years. So when I was selected to try out a 10.5kg washer dryer (6kg dryer), I jumped at the chance, especially as it was wi-fi enabled. Delivery was quick and hassle free and installation was very easy. Taking out the transit bolts with the supplied spanner, one pipe for the cold feed, one pipe to the drain and a plug. Even a novice would have no issues. The unit slotted perfectly into the existing space without and problems and dare I say it, looked a lot better and modern than my 10 year old previous unit. The instructions were simple and the integration with the Connect Life App was easy. A quick drum clean before the first wash as a matter of precaution, I didn’t realise how BIG the drum is compared to my old washer. Even though there’s 4 of us in my household, it easily swallowed up all the weeks bedding without issues. The variety of programmes takes a little while to get used to as there are so many permutations, but this is a big positive for the machine as it demonstrates flexibility. Once the desired setting was entered, I started the cycle on my phone. I love the autodose facility whereby you fill the chambers in the drawers with your choice of detergent and fabric conditioner and once the machine weighs the load, dispenses the correct amount without any waste. The cycle was a lot quieter than my previous unit and the drying facility at the end was a godsend… No more hanging on a clothes line or horse. And all of it can be controlled and monitored on the app. Inspecting the load at the end, the bedding was clean, smelt fresh and touch dry. I could have left it longer in the dryer, but one has to try and do their bit for the environment and use less energy. Talking of energy, I was amazed that the wash and dry cycle combined was less than just the wash cycle on my previous washer. Clearly Hisense have thought about this thoroughly and worked their magic. All in all, a fantastic product by Hisense. Normally, I would not have contemplated the brand, but it just goes to show how good this manufacturer is and the quality of their products. I can see myself buying other products from this manufacturer.
