This is useful for an 86 year old to sit on in the bathroom she can get dressed without endangering herself perching on the edge of the bath. It'll work with other ages if elderly to I suspect, not just 86 year-olds. Maybe it'll work when mother is 87 too.

Simple solution to avoid accidents in the shower
A very simple and straightforward solution to a temporary problem. I got a small break in my ankle recently and was finding it difficult to clean my feet in the shower easily and safely. This assembled easily and let me sit to clean. Very stable and secure.

Swivel seat is very sensitive
I bought this thinking the swivel seat would be helpful but find that for me the swivel top moves too much and I don’t feel safe. Is there some way I can stop the swivel altogether? Other than that the construction of the stool is very good.

Having had someone confirm this would fit in the bath I bought it and guess what! It doesnt fit in the bath! Technically yes it fits but the feet are not flat to the bottom of the bath as they sit on the curved bit so not suitable at all for a bath!

The 34cm width is the side-to-side measurement across the seat/frame. The 43cm depth is the measurement from front to back, in the direction you'd sit. So, to fit it in a bath, you'd need to allow for approximately 43cm front-to-back, plus a little extra clearance for comfortable positioning.
