[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Logitech Signature Slim Solart K980 is honestly a pretty sweet keyboard if you’re into clean desks and zero-cable chaos. It runs on light, literally. Sunlight, lamp light, whatever you’ve got going on. The solar strip keeps it charged, and the battery can last months, so you don’t have to think about it. Love that for us. Typing feels like a nice laptop keyboard: low-profile, comfy, and not too noisy. It looks sleek and minimal too, especially in the graphite colour. A couple of handy features: • You can customise shortcuts with the Logi Options+ app, including a button to launch your favourite AI app (cute). • There’s an Action Key that lets you turn repetitive tasks into one tap. • You can switch between three devices super easily, great if you bounce between a laptop and tablet It’s also built to last, with quality materials and even some recycled plastic. Logitech claims it can handle around 10 million keystrokes, which… feels like more typing than I’ll ever do in my life. Only real catch: you do need the app plus a compatible device to fully use all the features. And obviously it’s a keyboard, so don’t expect fireworks.

It’s solar-powered—charges from sunlight or indoor lighting—so I never have to think about plugging it in. The AI Launch Key is a nice touch for opening my favourite AI app quickly, and switching between devices is super simple. I’ve got mine set up with my iPad—just press button 1, 2, or 3, and it connects instantly.

Beautiful design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm always on the lookout for good IT ware for the desk. This is a solar powered keyboard, so not a great amount of faff there. Because it is wireless I can move all over my desk without the inconvenience of being restricted by wires. It also means less wires across the desk generally. It comes in a great ergonomic design, graphite in colour so it really looks the part especially against my black glass desk. Soundwise keys are nice and low depth so you can quietly tap away to your hearts desire. All in all a fantastic IT upgrade.

It feels durable and built to last. The keyboard features a solar strip which uses LightCharge technology to power and charge the keyboard. This is an amazing feature as it uses light energy from both natural and artificial sources, such as a lamp. No more hunting around for batteries when your keyboard unexpectedly dies. The keyboard was super quick and easy to set up and start using. I love that it’s wireless. I was able to flick between using it with my pc and my iPad at just a press of a button. The keys feel nice to press and I enjoyed typing. A great keyboard.

It connects instantly and hasn’t dropped connection once. The battery seems to last ages too. I also like that it has extra shortcut keys and a full number pad, which is super useful for work. My laptop keyboard is missing some buttons, and this Logi keyboard is doing its job perfectly as a replacement. It honestly feels even better than the built in one.
