A versatile machine
I'm still learning how to use this phone, but I'm impressed as I unravel it. Some instructions would have been helpful.

Brilliant update to our previous Panasonic phones.

Very pleased
I bought this phone to replace my old Panasonic model that after years of use developed some issues. I am very pleased with my new phone. It has some new features and is easy to use. I thoroughly recommend this product.

Great so far...
We've not tried all the features of our new phones yet but so far we're very impressed. Voice clarity and volume seems fine (not tried amplified yet), and the ringer is much louder than our previous BT phones. The incoming call voice announcement can be a bit alarming, but can be turned off if required. Display is quite large and clear. As some have mentioned, the contacts list is a bit slow but the favourites and speed dial options are really useful. Call/redial list a bit fiddly to access but works. The answer phone on our older BT set wouldn't work properly with 'digital voice' (i.e. with the base station connected to our router) but the Panasonic ones appear to be fine here. Also not fully tried the call blocking features yet but guess these will work OK. Would recommend!

Problems
The phone that I bought as a replacement for my previous one does not allow me to select a name directly that I’ve stored, when wishing to make a call. So if I want to recall a name beginning with - for example - C - I used to press C three times and then all names beginning with that letter would come up. However, my new phone just produces the letter A when I press three times, so I have to then scroll through all the names beginning with A and B before accessing the C one that I require, So, I find the new ‘phone less user friendly than my previous one. Also, the sound is not crisp and clear any more. There is a slight buzz, even on the dialling tone, so I doubt that the equaliser will correct that. The phone is correctly installed.

Decent handset and and phone functions
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quality of phone was good and sound clear. Easy to operate. Not sure it has a place in modern family life. All of my friends and family operate on mobiles and have discarded their ‘house phones’.

A decent pair of cordless landline phones
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are very good cordless landline phones. The buttons are big and easy to see. The battery life is as expected - we tend to replace immediately onto stand anyway. The sound quality is fine and of course being cordless allows you to move around the house while on the phone. A great feature on these phones is the saved person details eg Dad is spoken aloud or the number is gives aloud so you know who is calling before answering.
