Does the job
Nice little machine. Easy to set up although I do have previous experience with sewing machines. Just a basic 'get started' leaflet which may not be enough for a novice. I understand there are more detailed instructions online but I haven't needed to access them so far so can't comment. Very quiet and good selection of stitches.

Can't get hold of manual.
I haven't taken this sewing machine out of the box yet as I have read other reviews complaining about the lack of a manual, and wanted to make sure I could get hold of one before I accepted it as something I could use. Trying to get a manual on the Singer website is dreadful. It made me download an app called "Easyshare" that I didn't want, then said I had to download something else before I could download the manual. I decided to stop trying at that point. I have emailed the company to ask for a paper copy (which I've said I'll pay for if necessary) but no reply. Other "find a manual" websites don't even seem to have heard of this model. If I don't hear back from Singer in the next few days I'll be returning the machine.

Review Title: Quiet, Easy to Use, beginner friendl
I bought this sewing machine recently and I’m genuinely impressed with it. It was very straightforward to set up and start using, even without much experience. The instructions were clear and I was sewing within a short time. One thing I really appreciate is how quiet it is while running. I expected more noise, but it’s smooth and surprisingly peaceful to use. The built-in light is helpful, the threading process is simple, and the stitches come out neat and consistent. A small detail that made a big difference for me is the foot pedal cord. It’s much longer than I expected, so I didn’t need to mess around with extension leads or rearrange my workspace. It gives you plenty of flexibility when setting up. Overall, this machine feels reliable, stable and well designed. It does exactly what I need it to do without any fuss, and it has made sewing enjoyable rather than intimidating. I’m very happy with my purchase and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable sewing experience!

Singer sewing machine
After 20 years my old sewing machine finally gave up. So purchased this on 24/05/26, I'm not a dress maker or claim to be, but quite nifty on a sewing machine. What a little beauty , easy to set up, sows beautifully. Would definitely recommend for a beginner or someone like myself. Also a reasonable price. 10/10
