About this product
The HP DeskJet 2910 is designed for families needing a simple, reliable printer for everyday documents, schoolwork and photos. It offers printing, scanning and copying in one compact machine that connects to all devices via dual-band Wi-Fi, which automatically reconnects so you don't struggle with setup. It prints at 7.5ppm black and 5.5ppm colour, with a 60-sheet paper tray suited for home use. Setup is straightforward using the HP Smart app, and you can print from smartphones, tablets, PCs or Macs via wireless or Apple AirPrint.
Manual duplex printing reduces paper consumption for double-sided documents and delivers crisp text and vibrant colour photos with up to 1200dpi black and 4800dpi colour resolution. It uses 2 ink cartridges, with HP 308 recommended, and the flatbed scanner handles copying or scanning with decent optical resolution. Weighing about 3.4kg, it fits comfortably on a desk and includes ink cartridges to start printing immediately. Compatible with Windows and Mac, mobile printing via the HP Smart app lets you print from anywhere in your home.

Excellent value for money.
This is a perfect home printer. The quality is good enough for all .doc and .pdf files, as well as for basic image quality. This is not designed for photograph quality. It was easy to set up with our wifi, and all our devices are able to print easily to it. I've not had it long enough to speak to the ink capacity and reliability, but I've had HP printers before, and they usually last about 5 years which, for the price is very cheap. It seems silly that a new printer is only about £5 more expensive than a fresh pair of cartidges, but there we go.

Ink is vibrant with no issues and the 3 month free ink subscription is perfect so you never run out of ink. Perfect for having in the home and compact enough to easily store away until needed. Connects easily to my iPhone and my partners Samsung with the app with no issues at all.

Bought for home use, easy to set up, connect and print from laptop. Replacement cartridges seem very expensive so will see what alternatives are around.
