Fun build, great once completed as well
I've not bought or built a Lego kit for about 30 years (I'm 45 now) and wondered if I'd actually like it. Turns out that I did. I spent between 30 mins and an hour per session (just popping bits on whilst I watched the telly), and I built it over 7 sessions.

Another excellent set, thanks Lego
This was definitely one of the better ones, although I can hardly ever fault Lego and their sets. This kept my 16 year old daughter invested for hours, and I mean hours. Set contains a lot of smaller pieces, but ideal for idle hands. To be fair, my daughter hasn’t got much of an attention span but this kept her engaged. She followed the well laid out instructions meticulously. She found it easy to follow. And the sectioned packets makes construction so much easier to follow. Yes there are several moves by parts which adds to the enjoyment, but for older kids it’s all about the construction and this one certainly delivers. One thing I must comment on is that on first glance from the box you may think it’s got a motor and moves automatically. It does not. There’s a pretend outlet charger so kids can role play it’s been charged up to move the many rotating pieces. Having said that it’s the only criticism I have. My 16 year old daughter enjoyed building it. I enjoyed the peace and quiet. Win win in my book! So good for older kids. Any gender, any attention span. Works for all. Totally recommend even if they aren’t into diggers.

Great kit but it is not motorised
This is a nice quality Lego kit, I can imagine the ELECTRIC lettering on the truck led some people to believe the LEGO kit was electric, though it does say in very small writing on the box that the kit is not motorised. Inside the box you get a sheet of stickers, numbered bags of Lego pieces, an instruction manual and some loose parts. The kit was very straight forward to assemble, the manual tells you which bag and pieces to use for each step of the build, with scale drawings of the parts on the relevant pages to help you use the correct parts. Once built the model rolls forwards/backwards on the wheels, a nice touch with the drivestrain is a working front and rear differential and 4 wheel drive. By rotating each of three control knobs either the steering is actuated, the bucket mechanism goes up/down or the actual bucket can be tipped up/down, so you can scoop up dirt from the ground and then raise it into the air as shown on the cover photo.

Great Lego Technic Set
This is a complex Lego Technic set that with standard picture based instructions the final product being a tennis set is multi functional and is focused on technical aspects rather than more simplified looks based Lego sets . It will be a great addition to any technics collector.

Fantastic lego set
Was very impressed with this lego Technic set , only thing i was disappointed with is that i thought it was electronic due to the name but its not. Still it is a fantastic lego set. Building was a little tricky is some places due to it being fiddly but was still really fun to build. I found the app instructions alot easier to follow than the booklet , although the booklet instructions are clear also the app shows you a little demonstration so its clearer where to put which lego part . The set took me around 3.5 hours (done with a 2 year old around ) i think alone would have only taken about 2 hours . The detail to this piece is great and the final build is sturdy and can handle careful play or look great on a shelf . Would highly recommend this lego set.

Brilliant
Absolutely brilliant Lego toy. A joy to unbox. All the pieces cleverly packaged and numbered. Couldn't contain my excitement when I saw an actual user manual inside. Clear pictorial colour stages. No text. A QR code is provided for cyber users wanting the Lego Builder App. All the pieces catalogued at the back of the manual. Very user friendly. Cool Volvo loader toy. Can't wait to complete the build.

Can’t beat Lego technic.
Another great Lego technic model to add to my rather large collection. As always the Lego comes in individually numbered bags and has detailed instructions on how to build your model. But in this instance I found that some of the instructions were a little bit confusing. So for the first time half way through the build i switched to the Lego builders app and the instructions were brilliant. The app allowed you to view and rotate each piece to show you how to correctly put it together. And if you’re working in a low light environment it’s much easier to work out the colours. It only too a few hours to build. But as always was fun. But a couple of bits were frustratingly faffy to put together. But in the end another successful build.

Technic Nearly At It's Best
Lego rarely fails with it's Technics sets, and they haven't with this one, from the moment you open the box you know it's a quality kit, the instructions at first sight are somewhat daunting but after the initial panic they are actually very well thought out and easily followed, especially with the bags number corresponding with each different phase of the build. Normally I'd give these sets and easy 5 stars, but this one was just let down a little by the slightly misleading name, with Electric in the title I assumed it would be powered by a motor and battery, but on looking at some small print on the box this isn't the case, so something to be aware of in future as it could lead to disappointment for younger builders.

Fun set to build and play.
Fun set to build. As with all Lego straight forward easy to follow build instructions. Took around 1hour 30 to build. Knobs to move the bucket on the front And for turning the digger. Following the instructions I found no issues with aligning the gears for the bucket movement and the design makes for great play after. Bucket easily goes flat to the ground picking up sand and dirt.
