About this product
An ambitious new adventure set in Lumiose City awaits in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, coming to Nintendo Switch in late 2025. Explore the city, unravel its secrets and battle Pokemon like never before! An urban redevelopment plan is underway in Lumiose City! The goal: to turn it into a place Pokemon and people can truly share. Shortly after arriving, you'll choose from one of these partners Pokemon to accompany you on your journey – Chikorita, Tepig or Totodile.
Together, you can explore the streets of this vast city or visit Wild Zones – habitats where you'll encounter wild Pokemon. To catch them, aim carefully and throw a Poke Ball or take them on with the help of the Pokemon on your team.
For the first time ever, Trainers and their Pokemon will move around and act in real time during battles. Pokemon will unleash their moves when their Trainers command them to. In addition to type matchups, there will be new mechanics to consider, such as the precise timing for swapping out your Pokemon or using moves, the different lengths of time moves will take to launch, and how big an area the moves will impact.
In Lumiose City, Pokemon can go beyond Evolution by undergoing Mega Evolution! When a Trainer's Key Stone resonates with the Mega Stone held by their Pokemon, the Pokemon will do more than just change shape and size – it will unlock a new level of power, which could turn the tide of battle!

Customers Say
Pokemon Legends: ZA offers fresh gameplay with innovative battle mechanics, a large map, and plenty of side quests. Fans appreciate the new style and customization, though some find repetitive boss fights and limited map variety.

Lots of content
It's a great game, took me about 30 hours to complete the main storyline but they have over 100 side quests and content to complete even after you finish that. I didn't really care for the boss fights, they just felt really spammy and they give the bosses super high defense so you just have to chip away at them really slowly and it gets boring and repetitive. I like to have the physical copy to lend to friends.

Great Game at an even greater price
recently bought Pokémon Legends: ZA from Argos and I’m really impressed. The game is fantastic, with a fresh take on the Pokémon formula that makes exploring and catching Pokémon feel exciting again. The open-world style and new mechanics keep it fun and engaging. The staff at Argos were great friendly and helpful and the whole buying process was quick and easy. Overall, a brilliant experience both with the game and the store. Highly recommend!

Amazing game!
Very innovative addition to the Franchise, the new battle mechanics really enhanced the feel of using your Pokémon. The city was full of sidequests and personality with a lot to do after the main story. Highly recommend.

Great game
I brought this a couple months back and really enjoyed it. The story was fun and not too repetitive and I enjoyed the online aspect.

“Legends” would be misleading
Bought the game around november and it introduces an interesting spin on the usual pokemon battle mechanics, however the main grievance i hold with the game is undoubtedly the repetitive mega evolution bosses. They become tedious and have no need to be as long as they are. There is also very limited differences in areas that would otherwise make traversing the map fun at all. No different biomes, the buildings all look the same and it is hard to have many varying areas in a single city but there was little creativity in the design of the map. Story was fine, I liked the customisation aspect but overall i would rate the game 5/10, still relatively enjoyable but doesnt live up to its spectacular predecessor, legends arceus.

Best pokemon experience in a while
I bought this game months ago and have put in hundreds of hours since. I especially liked the plot of this game as it felt slightly more mature than a regular pokemon game. This game is also particularly good for shiny hunting.
