The Vax Blade 4 Classic Pet & Car Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is built for tackling pet hair and everyday mess across your home and car. It converts to a handheld in seconds, giving you proper flexibility for furniture, stairs and car interiors. The removable 4.0Ah battery gives you up to 45 minutes of runtime, and there's a power boost button that triples the suction when you need extra punch on stubborn dirt or deep pile carpets.
At 3.1kg, it's light to carry, and the motorised floor head drives bristles deep into carpets to lift ground-in dirt. The 0.6l dustbin means fewer trips to the bin, with an indicator showing when it's full. The washable filter keeps suction strong if rinsed regularly. You get a flexi crevice tool, pet tool, fine dusting brush, crevice nozzle, upholstery nozzle, dusting brush, combination floor nozzle, plus a wall mount, charger and battery. It takes 3 hours to fully charge and works on carpets, deep pile, wool, hard floors, laminate, upholstery and stairs.

this is the 2nd vax blade 4 the other one just stopped working even though it had a new battery. they are generally a good vacuum thats why i brought another one hope it last more than 2 years .

Light, good suction but a pain to empty.
I bought this as a second vacuum cleaner primarily to clean the stairs and under the furniture which it does very well. The angle of the motorised head means I can clean under the TV unit with ease, the suction is good even without the boost and will run for over 30 minutes before needing to be charged. It is easy to change the heads moving from a stick cleaner to a short hand held cleaner. Where the vacuum does fall short is the dustbin which is a pain to empty when it has any dog fur in, to do so you need to open the flap and physically pull the hair out using your fingers resulting in getting covered in dust and hair not very pleasant pleasant. The quality does not feel as good as previous Vax vacuum cleaners I have bought previously only time will tell but it does come with a 3 year guarantee . I am glad I purchased the cleaner when it was on 50% off as I would have been disappointed paying the full price for it and getting covered in dirt.

It does what it says it will, but seems a bit flimsy. It isn’t a patch on my old upright Hoover, but it’s a lot easier to use.

Not solid enough
It does have good suction but I would say in carpet it feels to flimsy and isn’t sturdy enough and then often looses suction because when u push/pull it it doesn’t have a strong enough fixing for the suction so it just like pops off the carpet sort of thing. But is super lightweight. Personally wouldn’t buy again because I have a lot of carpet and i can’t even do the cool zigzag lines because it’s too flimsy .

Great cleaner, but unsuitable for me
I bought a Vax cordless vacuum cleaner, mainly because I was finding it too difficult heaving my old vacuum up and down stairs. The Vax one was great and I was very pleased when I'd put it together. Unfortunately when I tried it out, I found the hand-held part of it just too heavy for my feeble old wrists. So, reluctantly, I have given it to my daughter and accepted her lighter, but inferior, one in return. I am very disappointed.

It is not anti-hair wrap, the hair gets trapped in the long carpet tool and stops working.
