A highly efficient and reliable oven with excellen

The capacity is generous, easily fitting multiple trays at once, which is a huge bonus when hosting. I was initially worried about the running costs, but the Energy Efficiency is genuinely impressive—I've noticed a small reduction in my energy bills compared to my old unit. The oven heats up incredibly fast and maintains a consistent temperature, giving me perfect cooking results every time, from roasts to delicate baking. The biggest surprise has been the cleaning function. The pyrolytic self-cleaning cycle is highly effective, turning all the grime and spills into ash that you can simply wipe away. It saves so much time and effort. The only minor point is the noise level when the cooling fan kicks in after a long cycle, but it's not overly disruptive. Overall, a quality, reliable, and powerful oven. A highly efficient and reliable oven with excellent cleaning features and generous capacity.

My old oven wasn't working therefore I was in great need to have a new one. The only downside was a very long delivery time, the first product being sent back to the warehouse due to damage, not happy with delivery company at all. However once the oven was finally delivered, I was very pleased! It's so stylish, easy to install and most importantly very easy to use! It has several different options to choose from. The cooked food turns out delicious! Once the door is open, the oven stops working which is a fantastic feature! I would definitely recommend this oven to others, I am very happy with it!

The AEG OS6AB50AM (6000 SenseCook) does not feature a soft‑close door mechanism. According to AEG’s official product details, the door includes:
Isofront® Plus triple‑glazed doors with a heat‑reflective coating
Retractable controls for a sleek, flush appearance
Standard cooling fan, Food Sensor, Aqua Clean steam function, etc.
If you're specifically looking for a soft‑close (damped) hinge system—which allows the door to gently shut on its own—this model does not include that feature. The door operates with a typical hinge mechanism and must be manually closed.
The AEG OS6AB50AM oven features Aqua Cleaning, which is a semi-automatic cleaning function. It doesn't fully self-clean like pyrolytic ovens, but it does make cleaning easier:
You simply add water to the base of the oven.
When activated, the oven heats up and creates steam.
This steam loosens food residue and grease.
You then wipe the interior clean with a damp cloth.
So while it doesn't completely clean itself without any user input, it significantly reduces the effort needed to maintain cleanliness.
