About this product
The Habitat Bowie gives you a double bed with hidden storage built in, so you can keep spare bedding, pillows or seasonal clothes tucked away without cluttering your bedroom. The soft headboard and padded sides create a comfortable spot for sitting up and reading before lights out. An assisted lift system means you can raise the base easily and access the 615L space underneath whenever you need it. Sprung wooden slats support your mattress and let air flow through, that helps everything stay fresh and creates better conditions for a good night's sleep.
The upholstered frame's covered in a grey linen-look fabric that's practical for everyday use and blends with most bedroom styles. Plastic feet lift the base 5cm off the floor, so you can sweep or hoover underneath without any awkward reaching. The headboard fixings come included and everything's designed to go together without fuss. It'll support up to 110kg total weight, and the side rails sit at a comfortable height for getting in and out of bed. Arrives flat-packed in two boxes, two people recommended for assembly as it makes the job much easier.

Great storage
Looks good the storage is great with lots of space, but putting it together took hours in fact took till the next day as I started it in the evening. The instructions could be a little clearer. One of the hinges was very stiff.

Bed is lovely and good quality. Does come in bits so will need assembly! Instructions not the best but got there in the end!

Colour not cream
We bought this bed recently and although the bed seems good quality, it wasn’t the colour we expected. It is advertised as ‘cream’ however it is more of a natural colour and almost looks grey in some lights

Nice looking large ottoman bed base
Looks lovely but lower then my previous base so something I am going to have to get used to and also bigger, my own fault for not measuring properly but takes up a lot of room and creaks a lot too due to the metal of the base and the wooden slats. The under bed storage is great and there is a lot of room.
