The Vax SpotWash Home and Car Spot Cleaner is designed for quick, effective spot cleaning wherever spills and stains happen. It's compact enough to store easily but powerful enough to tackle everyday messes across carpets, upholstery, stairs and hard floors. Lightweight enough to carry around the house or out to the car, and the long power cord gives you plenty of reach without constantly unplugging.
It has separate clean and dirty water tanks, letting you clean several spots before refilling or emptying. Edge-to-edge cleaning reaches skirting boards and corners, sucking up spills and dirt. The hose offers flexibility to reach awkward areas like car seats or stairs. Included tools are a 3-piece car cleaning kit, 2-in-1 everyday tool, multisurface attachment, hard floor attachment for the 2-in-1 tool, and crevice tool. It features a carry handle for easy transport and built-in antimicrobial protection. Works on carpets, hard floors, stairs, upholstery and includes a 2-year guarantee.

The hose is the problem.
I have had my Spotwash Pet for a few years and it has worked perfectly but now the hose has become hard and has split at both ends. It is currently held together with Duct tape. I had hoped that Vax would have supplied replacement hoses to fix this problem but they have not. I am surprised the new models are the same design and will ultimately suffer the same fate. They need to be redesigned to have a replaceable and more flexible hose and so I reluctantly will not be buying another one.

Love love love! I’ll be honest! I procrastinated using it as it looked complicated and came with so many attachments and options of cleaning fluids. But it’s SO EASY to use! And my sofas look brand new! I’m thrilled with it.

I bought this a few weeks ago, and I'm so pleased that I did. I have a large carpet cleaner already, but this little machine has already proved it's with with cleaning up the little accidents ( spilt coffee on a cream carpet) and a good few small areas that needed a good clean, but was not enough to warrant getting the heavy carpet cleaner that I have had for a long time. A great, useful, purchase!

I haven't used it a lot yet but seems to work well. The rotating brush head is great. Very easy to assemble, operate and is compact. Very pleased with Violet (Vi) ava Vax carpet cleaner 😁

Love love love it !!! I'm a mother of 5 two being toddlers with a cream sofa and rug !!! Touch wood i havnt found a stain that can't be lifted with the vax and stain remover including strawberry !!!

Great piece of kit all round
Purchased this a few weeks ago and have used it for spills on the carpet and also for cleaning a sofa. Very quick and easy to use and it does a great job, plenty of attachments come with it so a tool for every application required. The size makes it easy to use easy to store and easy to get out and set up when required "urgently".

Having looked into this, the SpotWash does have a Dry Debris Tool. To enable you to pick up dry debris and clean inside your car quickly and easily before you begin spot cleaning.

I can advise that this cleaner can be used on wool carpet, however the most critical factor is using a cleaning solution that is WoolSafe approved. Vax provides these and you'll see their fluid mentioned as safe for wool/mix rugs.
