A good quality phone perfect for older users
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing you notice is how big the buttons are. It's a perfect phone for people with sight problems. The phone feels sturdy and durable. Unfortunately I can't comment on sound quality because after having the phone plugged in for weeks, and not receiving any calls, we determined that we have a fault on our line. This hasn't been fixed in time for this review. I had been able to make calls though, and can confirm that the call quality is excellent.

Great phone for those with poorer eyesight and hea
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent phone! Larger buttons to use and a great design. Battery life is really good as on a long call with my friend, the battery hardly used any power. The sound quality is fabulous! Nice and loud so you can hear it upstairs when it rings. I love that it has a nuisance call feature because I do get a lot of those! It has an answering machine feature which is very useful when I can’t answer the phone. I recorded my own message but there are standard ones included to use. Once you have programmed your numbers in, talking caller ID even tells you who is ringing you! Very useful when you don’t want to talk to someone!!! The speakerphone feature is great because it allows you to chat to someone even without holding the handset. I would say, compared to other phones, that it is a little larger but I find that ok. The red lights that illuminate on the phone whilst in operation allow you to see what you are doing even in a dark room which is useful for night time calls. The screen is a good size to enable those people with poor eyesight to see the numbers better. I did find the handset a little heavy as I am used to using a much lighter one.

Great to use with good sound and visual quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product design and quality are excellent. The visuals are large and easily seen for poor eyesight, and if you are still not sure pressing the button, you get a recorded message of that buttons actions.I found this very useful. The quality of sound is excellent. If voices are low or distant, you can easily boost the sound by controlling it from the handset. The background noise from your caller also sounds reduced. The messages are clear and can be switched on or off with a display showing you one or more has come in. Overall, I found the unit very good easily to use and stylish.

A little complicated to set up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mixed feelings regarding this phone. I found the instructions quite confusing especially where I had to find the menu and add a string of numbers to set up the various functions. Considering it’s for an older person it could’ve been simpler. The handset itself has larger buttons which are helpful but I felt it was heavier than my previous phone. When someone calls it rings loudly and the lights on the base and handset flash. I had to increase the volume up to max when on a call as I couldn’t hear the caller fully. I haven’t tried the booster yet as I was put off by the warning that it could damage hearing! The caller ID took a few days to kick in, despite it working on my previous phone. I like how it can be set to announce the caller too as long as they are set up in your phonebook. One thing that I found quite disappointing was that there is only one ring tone unlike my previous phone which had several. I think it will take some getting use to.

Fabulous phone for any hearing loss !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely brilliant phone ! I have a hearing loss to high-pitched sounds, and I can miss the phone ringing if I'm in another room , the ringtone on this phone is very loud with a base unit sound of up to 100 decibels and you can adjust the handset volume upto 40 decibels and There is also a bright red ringer LED on the base unit and handset that flash when a call is coming through, and large buttons all help with any hearing and visual loss. There is an added features on the handset to slow the callers voice down if they speak too fast and it is hearing aid compatible. If you program your handset with names and numbers, the phone will tell you who is calling as it rings so you know who is calling before you get to the phone , you can program in 100 names and numbers . The base unit also incorporates an answer machine and buttons for quick Dail numbers . Lots of different ringtone and there is also one for the Christmas season .

Excellent phone with amplified hearing options
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely easy to set up. The big features on the base and phone make it easy to see. The ring tone is really loud and is adjustable to higher or lower levels depending on your hearing ability. There is a volume booster facility which can make the ring tone significantly louder if you are extremely hard of hearing. Incoming calls are announced by name, number or private. If a call is unanswered the base red lights will illuminate so you can check the hand set to see who has called. Another feature is enabling playback of messages to a slower speed, handy if you need to write down details, this feature can also be used on calls and when screening calls before answering them. The phone is also compatible with listening devices such as neck loop systems and T-Coll hearing aids. This is an extremely good cordless phone and answering machine from a well respected manufacturer Panasonic at a reasonable price.
