Lovely topper, just what we needed
Lovely topper just what we needed. Our mattress was perfect 2 years ago but as we both now have back problems we needed a soft topper.This topper is so comfortable very soft even though it is really quite thick. Would definitely recommend

I haven't slept on the topper, but we used it on a very firm bed at Christmas for my Daughter, and she said it was much more comfortable than when she slept on the bed previously.

It’s generally not recommended to use a double mattress topper on a single bed because it will be much wider than the mattress, leading to overhang, poor stability, and the topper shifting out of place. A double topper also won’t align with the single bed’s elasticated corner straps, which are designed to secure it properly to mattresses of the matching size. In addition, you would need a double fitted sheet to cover it, which would not fit snugly on a single mattress and would bunch or slip during use. Overall it provides less comfort and a poorer fit than using the correct single‑sized topper.
