I purchased this to go on top of a mattress for some extra height and more comfort. The thickness is good and plump and the bed is much more comfortable. It slightly flattened but does bounce back . Bought a second one for another bed . Hopefully it doesn't go flat to soon , overall very happy

It’s generally not recommended to use a double mattress topper on a single bed because it will be much wider than the mattress, leading to overhang, poor stability, and the topper shifting out of place. A double topper also won’t align with the single bed’s elasticated corner straps, which are designed to secure it properly to mattresses of the matching size. In addition, you would need a double fitted sheet to cover it, which would not fit snugly on a single mattress and would bunch or slip during use. Overall it provides less comfort and a poorer fit than using the correct single‑sized topper.
