Floats in the bath and measures the water temperature every 5 seconds to make sure it's between 36.5C and 38C (the safe range for a baby's bath). I bought this item and it’s actually quite dangerous as marked as able to measure bath water temperature however is at least 2 degrees out...could result in damage to babies...terrible item and would not recommend
I was so excited to read this product works in room and bath. On my first use, it was entirely inaccurate in the room - although my home is quite warm at 21C its reading showed 18C. And it didnt even work in the bath at all. In fact the reading wouldn't even change from 18C.
Bought for use once my baby arrives, but tested on a bath for myself. After one use, the battery reacted and leaked rust on the surface I had left it on to dry out.
Now the thermometer no longer works at all.
It was really easy to use and would be great if it lasted more than one use.
The first time I put this in my daughters bath it seemed ok, but the next time I went to use it, it was all foggy on the temperature bit and some numbers not displaying, I spent 10 minutes trying to open it! When I did it was clear water had got in somewhere! Waste of my money and wasn't that cheap either, specially with a new born baby and being out of work due to corona virus. Not the best experience!
After 6 months it suddenly stopped working and displayed an error message and the back was impossible to remove to see if it was the battery. It has now gone in the bin.
