Good set for LoTR fan or experienced lego builder
I was hesitant to buy this set as it seemed a bit bare given the price and the fact that there are other book nook sets with better price per piece ratio. I decided to give it a go when it went on sale though and don't regret buying it after all. What little bricks there are they are used well and it's clear design was well thought over. Loved mithril ore included in it as callback to Moria's history. I like the way different shades of tiles are used to give impression of the bridge being lit and the build of actual flames on the sides. I personally think this set looks better out in the open (so the flames are highlighted by sunlight) rather than kept between the books though. The instructions were easy to follow and it was nice touch to add quotes from the book to it. I wish Balrog hands didn't include grey elements though, it's just one part per hand thought and with right pose arranged it doesn't stick out much. This set contains no stickers. It's a welcome change after One Piece and D&D sets. Overall, it's a good set. It makes a good gift for LotR fan or experienced LEGO builder looking for something new and not worried about increasing their brick count.

Great set
Purchased as a gift, was well received. Box was a little damaged on collection, they ordered another one but when I returned to get that it was worse than the first so had to accept the original. Not terrible but if you’re a collector then a bit of a gamble on the condition if using click and collect.

Fantastic build! Great mechanics and complexity, really good size for a bookshelf. A light set for this would look really cool with the design and details of the flames.
