About this product

The Einhell GC-CH 18/40 Li Solo is a lightweight and handy cordless hedge trimmer from the Power X-Change family. Its robust metal gearbox ensures durability and perfect power transfer to the laser-cut, diamond-ground steel blades. A 2-hand safety switch is included for user protection. The delivery includes an aluminium blade cover, a shock protector with a wall mount bracket, and a sturdy case for storage and transport. The required 18V PXC battery and charger are available separately.

Rapid delivery - although box badly damaged, contents were fine. An additional machine from this range. Like all of the others works well and is reliable.Light and easy to handle. Cuts through larger hedging branches than expected. Battery last long enough to cut a good bit of hedge and by the time the cutting are cleared battery is re-charged. Like all of these garden machines - I thought a bit like 'toys' - but far from it they work well even in harsh conditions.

Only just recently bought and used once so far. Did the job required with ease. Nice and comfortable to use and the weight is just right. My only issues were there's no button to keep the motor going so you can relax your hands off both starter buttons, it can tire the hands. Also when I bought it I didn't realise it never came with a charger or battery. So far so good and a great buy so hopefully it stands the test of time as it seems well built.
