About this product
The Hotpoint HDG6GDCX Gas Cooker makes family cooking easier with a practical double oven setup and a dependable 4-burner gas hob. The main oven offers generous space for roasting or batch baking and features Catalytic Liners that catch grease and fat, burning it off while you cook so you simply wipe away residue. The second oven adds capacity with multifunction and grill options, ideal for side dishes or quick grills. Both ovens have interior lights, easy-clean enamel, and A and A energy ratings, making them efficient too.
The gas hob has 4 burners with matte enamel pan supports that keep your pots stable, plus push button ignition for quick starts. A glass lid folds down to protect the hob when not in use and lines up with your worktop to give you extra prep space. Flame Safety Device cuts the gas if the flame goes out, and front-mounted controls with a programmable digital timer help you keep track of everything. At 60cm wide, it's LPG convertible with an adaptor kit and comes with a 10-year parts and 1-year labour guarantee.

Glass Lid - Our durable glass lid helps to protect your kitcehn from splatters and protects your cooker when not in use. Aligning with your work surface, our glass lids also create more space in your kitchen.

Great safety functions.
Bought this recently and am very pleased with the overall look and performance. Great cooker for the price. Remember to turn the oven and grill on before use to burn off the new residue, took me about 20-30 mins until the smell had gone. Apparently this is the same with all new cookers.

Got my cooker today.. but the top oven shelf and 2 bottom shelves are all 460 mm x 280 mm ..
Have they sent me wrong main oven shelves ? As you are saying they should be 340mm depth and that is why I bought cooker.

The supplier has advised the following for the Hotpoint HDG6GDCX 60cm Double Oven Gas Cooker - S/Steel:
"Electrical connection on this model is by a plug. The appliance can be hardwired, however does not need to be given it's output."
(Please note that any hardwiring would need to be done by a qualified engineer, but so would the gas installation. It needs to be done for you by a suitably qualified gas engineer).
