Catalytic Liners in the Main Cavity - Our liners catch grease and fat splatters, burning them off while you cook. All you need to do is wipe away any residue for a hassle-free clean-up.

Stylist cooker
Brought couple week ago ,first time using today it ok the lid doesn’t sit right not sure my big oven tray will fit in oven as the oven rack seem smaller then my old on doesn’t go far back but the cooker goes lovey with my new kitcken

Excellent cooker.
I have had this just over two weeks and it is a great cooker. It is very sturdy and looks fantastic. Very easy to clean. Cooks very evenly. Very easy to use. Has a digital timer with an alarm to let you know when your food is cooked. Only one small thing is the glass lid doesn’t sit flat but it’s not that big a deal. Over all I’m very happy upto now.

If you enjoy cooking give this a miss
This cooker was delivered on 15/12/25 as my previous cooker was 15 years old and main oven had failed. I researched at least 6 double oven gas cookers wanting a gas grill and hob cover, a difficult choice apparently and everything was out of stock with all major retailers. In my opinion this cooker is badly designed. Hob cover lifts at the front, why are both normal size burners at the back with little used very small burner at the front? Extremely slow grill, one shelf too near the flame, the other too far away. Preheat time given as 10 minutes so I suggest you use a toaster. Oven shelves are too shallow so all my previous baking sheets and large roasting tin are too big. Coupled with the fact gas ovens have a tolerance temperature range of + and - 15 degrees it makes cooking guesswork until you use an oven thermometer to gauge the temperature. Mine is on the - 15 degrees spectrum. Perhaps the powers that be want us to go electric. I am a genuine customer who bought this appliance no reason not to be truthful.

The supplier has advised the following for the Hotpoint HDG6GDCX 60cm Double Oven Gas Cooker - S/Steel:
"Electrical connection on this model is by a plug. The appliance can be hardwired, however does not need to be given it's output."
(Please note that any hardwiring would need to be done by a qualified engineer, but so would the gas installation. It needs to be done for you by a suitably qualified gas engineer).
