We bought our son a switch 2 only because they have stopped upgrades for the switch. Quite a scam really. He probably won’t ever play on the switch again as you can use all games on switch 2. He owns the game on the switch so it’s just more money

The new Star-Crossed World content is by far the best in the game, with exceptionally fun and creative levels, but the rest of the game is padded out by tedious clear conditions and time trial challenges that are often a test of memory and patience more than they encourage skilful gameplay or bring any sort of challenge to the game. Theoretically you could finish the game without doing any of the specific challenges in each level or doing any of the time trials, but the game makes a point to present you with checklists for them - it's clear you're MEANT to engage. Plus, if the way to have fun with a game is to ignore half the content, maybe that's not so much a good sign. This game just doesn't have the usual Nintendo fun and polish, and the physical Switch 2 Edition is just a waste of money when compared to other available titles.

Great game that just got better on switch 2!

I completed this upon release on the original switch. When they announced an update which makes the game run at 60fps, runs at a higher resolution, plus extra content I was sold. The extra content is relatively short, coming in at a few hours it’s just long enough not to disappoint but not too long that it overstays it welcome. Overall very happy with my purchase.
