About this product
Preparing soil for spring planting or refreshing tired flower beds? The Einhell GE-CR 1820 Li E is a cordless garden tiller that loosens compacted earth with ease. It's part of the Power X-Change family so existing batteries work straight away. The 20cm working width suits smaller beds and borders perfectly. You'll adjust speed electronically to match soil conditions as you work. Four heavy-duty metal blades cut through tough ground without bending or breaking. This cordless tool runs on 18V batteries sold separately.
The main handle features a soft grip so longer tilling sessions stay comfortable. You'll set the additional handle to your preferred height for better control. It weighs just 3.8kg so you won't strain during overhead lifting or transport. The separable guide bar breaks down quickly for compact storage in sheds. A dedicated transport handle makes moving between beds simple and quick. Batteries and charger aren't included so check your Power X-Change stock.

Tiller
Bought this to make things easier on our allotment. Does what it says on the tin, would recommend this product.

Small but seems mighty, will see how long it lasts
I wanted a small tiller to fit between trees, someone showed me an electric one and I though it was a baby toy. It turns out you cannot buy a small petrol tiller. I choose this one as it has 3 year warranty; I am worried it won't last the 3 years. I do love how lightweight it is and the that its foldable. My criticism- the blades are too close to each other so they get easily stuck by a rock etc also the blades are too short compared to the centre; so the centre likes to glide on the soil; so each time you have to move a bit to the side so you till the centre. All this makes it a bit more fiddly and makes the job take longer than it should. But the result is actually there.

Works very well, and light and easy to use.
A fully charged 4ah battery was enough to do a 3mx3m plot 3 times. The plot was part of a lawn, so was heavy going to start with. Clearing the tines regularly made the job much easier at first, but became unneccessary by the end of the second time. To dig this area by hand would have taken a lot longer, especially with the compacted lawn.

Good little tiller

Much better than I expected!
I am pleasantly surprised as how effective this rotovator is. My soil sets lik concrete when it dries out, and this machine is able to break up the soil with ease. It does sometimes jam if a lump of hard earth gets between the blades and the casing, but it is small inconvenience when compared to truyng to dig by hand.
