Braun 8663CC Clean & Charge Shaver

Really good, close shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well packaged product and a nice storage case, which you'd expect from Braun. Comes with a nice recharging cradle and a handy cleaning system which took me a couple of tries to use correctly. Instructions were clear, although to be honest it's very simple and intuitive. You either fix the foil in position or let it move around. I opt for the latter. I use it mainly to tidy and shape my beard and neck line. It's very precise, providing a nice, clean and neat shave. Its much better than the foil attachment on my braun trimmer set. I have no skin irritation or redness either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the braun series8 is much better than the series6 that i have had before its better on thicker hair has more cutting power and with the easy cleaner stand its stays fresh and ready to use when ever you need it. its very quick and quiet and the battery last longer than most others

Best shaver of this type.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For me this is the best shaver of this type I've used. Worked as expected and didn't drag any hairs out plus minimal shaving burn. The noise is minimal and again lower than other models. Love the cleaning system and works the same as other models of this series. Good battery life too. Can charge on its own or in the cleaning hub. Meaning you can take it with you if needed

Good Shaver with annoying limitations

I am comparing this to my 20+ year old Braun 8 Series which I had to replace as Braun no longer supply the foils. This new shaver gives as good a shave as my old shaver which is a very close shave for electric. I would recommend for this. Some annoying points. 1. It was supplied with a 2 pin European plug rather than a UK bathroom 2 pin plug. Useless. Now I have to use an adapter and charge and clean my shaver in a room other than the bathroom.Not ideal or convenient. 2. No protective cap to protect the very expensive foil. Come on Braun, some cost cutting is going too far. 3. The shaver cannot be used plugged in so you always have to rely on the rechargeable battery. This battery will eventually die and I guess the shaver then becomes more landfill. I don't expect to get 20+ years life from this shaver. Argos were excellent as usual.

Easy to use premium shaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Premium feeling shaver, nice tilt feature on the head which makes shaving easier than my previous electric shaver. Long battery life and the self cleaning station also charges which is very useful. Quite quiet. I would rate 5 stars but it doesn't include a UK adapter which is quite ridiculous for the price of the product.

Fab shaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a powerfully machine, built of quality durable material that's made to last! It comes in a beautiful, simple black zip case making it easy to transport and travel. It's not very noisy and has a very good battery life in comparison to machines I have used before. Its relatively easy to clean after use and has a precise finish.

Fantastic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic again by braun, easy to use and easy to charge, not entirely noisy, battery lasts for ages between charges, easy to use and can use for whole body and facial hair, comes great with the little self clean part, it's a lot better than my other branded shaver and would easily change to this! overall fantastic and would definitely recommend it!

Effortless shave 🪒!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product arrived in a lovely cardboard box highlighting the product and its features. It came with a flat battery so I had to plug it in to charge. It had however a European plug 🔌 so had to use an adapter in order to do this. It charged quite quickly and it was time to put it to the test and what better way than on my partner’s weekly shave! As you can see in the pictures attached it did a grand job. It did a clean shave effortlessly that I don’t think I’ll be getting it back anytime soon ! The different positions the head can be locked in and just the level of adjustments to get the desired finish is incredible. Would highly recommend this product !

Well weighted shaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is defo a high end shaver, it’s packaged in a nice big box and the shaver comes in a nice case. The shaver is great and gives a close shave, not overly noisy either. The trimmer tool at the back is great for my moustache and a useful addition, as I don’t need to swap to my beard trimmer. It’s even better that it has a dock to clean and maintain the blade, and it does a good job. Using it on my chest under my chin and neck it cuts well added bonus can be used wet too.Charge I would say is true to the claimed 60mins.
