Blink doorbell and synch module Gen2
Great overall. Unfortunately, it comes with a free 30 day trial and then you have to pay for cloud when it expires. You will lose some features like recordings so you will have to buy another hub which takes a usb. Depending what you will need from the device after subscription ends you will only get the doorbell, live view and motion detection without buying the new hub with usb fitting.

Connectivity issues
Not able to connect to Alexa or second phone, no details in directions how to connect to 2nd phone.had trouble returning item.

Its an ok product but make sure you have excellent WiFi coverage in your home, for that reason for me I gave it a 1 star. It is also fairly bulky and to much for a front door.

No, the Sync Module that comes in the standard Blink Video Doorbell (2nd Gen) + Sync Module bundle is the Sync Module Core, which does not have a USB or microSD card slot for local storage.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Blink 2nd Gen Battery Video Doorbell White + Sync Module: No, the Blink sync module does not act as a chime, It serves as a hub to connect your battery-powered Blink devices to your Wi-Fi network.
To receive chime sounds for your Blink video doorbell you can either connect to your existing in-home mechanical/digital doorbell chime system, pair with a compatible amazon echo device or use a Blink mini camera as a chime by configuring it in the Blink app.
