The pack also includes access to Zelda Notes via the Nintendo Switch App, offering voiced navigation and character insights from Princess Zelda to guide your journey.

This upgrade suits players aged 12 and older who want an optimal way to explore Hyrule's skies, surface and depths. You can continue your existing progress or start fresh with two slots, though data in the second slot won't transfer back to the standard Switch version. Zelda Notes adds a companion app feature, requiring a compatible smart device but no Nintendo Switch Online membership. Released 5 June 2025, this digital download is exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2 and requires the base game sold separately. An HDR-compatible TV is needed to see enhanced visuals in docked mode.
