The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild Switch 2 Upgrade Pack unlocks higher resolution, improved frame rates, and HDR support on Nintendo Switch 2, making landscapes and shrines look gorgeous. You need the base game (sold separately) to use this upgrade, but smoother gameplay and quicker loading mean less waiting and more adventuring across fields, mountains and ruins.

The pack adds Zelda Notes via the Nintendo Switch App for compatible smart devices, offering voiced navigation and insights from Princess Zelda to guide your journey. You can continue existing data or start fresh with two slots, though data in the second slot won't transfer back to the original Switch. Rated 12 and releasing 5 June 2025, it's perfect for revisiting Link's open-world adventure with improved performance and presentation. An HDR-compatible display is required for TV mode. Zelda Notes don't need Nintendo Switch Online but require a compatible device and internet.
