Expensive but good quality!

This is presented in a sturdy plastic case with proper hinges, not just a flexible plastic seem between the upper and lower case halves. The locks are simple plastic friction click type & may break if abused. The dense foam packing inside protects & retains the individual components securely. Changing is via usb-c so no problem if you lose the cable or need to charge in another location away from the storage case. All pieces feel weighty in a quality way- not uncomfortably heavy. The head change system is simple to use- pull the collar away from the head & it releases. I thought I may unintentionally activate this mechanism in use but I haven’t so far during vehicle maintenance/inspection and DIY use. Charge time is long, but usage time is great. I’ve yet to recharge after a few weeks of sporadic use, but I’ve used various heads in various power modes so I can’t give any specific usage time. As the heads rotate on the body you can easily unintentionally activate the power button as it’s never in a static position, a bit irritating having to cycle through the 4 modes to get back to full brightness. The beam isn’t adjustable on the heads which is a shame when using normal torch. Magnet on base is strong. It’s been dropped a few times and is coping so far. The price is high, but you can pay £20-30 for decent individual torches that are smaller/less powerful/run time. I may get another, I’d recommend it to anyone.
